I´m sorry about my Inglish,i am Portuguese, so i don´t write very well.
I just want to tell you that, there´s always a reason for everything in our lives.
The lost of your beautiful wife, was the begining of a new life for you, i´m sure, and i´m sure that you will understand that, some years from now.
You are the example of a good persone, and be sure that “She´s” thaking good care of you two from above.
Coragem, é um exemplo para todos os pais do Mundo
Bejinhos sinceros
I don’t know if I really believe that things happen for a reason. What could be the reason for something like this? Why do bad things happen to good people? But I do know that I have lived my life and have never came close to the love You two had for each other. in that sence, you are very lucky.
Just finished your book that I picked up as a random read. You so cleverly put into words what I have been thinking for the past five years since I lost my big brother unexpectedly a week before Christmas. He was awesome and only 35. I know it is not nearly the same but I get the feeling of losing a memory because the only other person that shares it with you is gone. Thank you for your book. It has helped me reflect, heal, and be inspired by you and your amazing wife.
Wow! Your wife is so BEAUTIFUL! Your book has helped not only me but my mom in a lot of ways. My grandmother died just after my mom was born and was only able to see her once before she went into a coma. Thanks!
I just finished your book. What a beautiful story so well written, cuss words and all. It was told in a real and raw uncensored way which is so refreshing. While I have not gone through exactly what you have I can say I have experienced devastating loss and raising my daughter as a single parent. It’s not easy but it’s extremely rewarding. At this point I can’t imagine meeting someone I love as I did my ex and I also feel scared as hell that I’ll never meet someone I love as much or that I’ll never have another child and that my child wont have a “complete family”. However, what you’re book made me realize is that a complete family doesn’t have to fit inside the “box” and that’s it’s up to me to give my daughter the support and love of a complete family whether or not it’s traditional. Best of luck or your continued progress, please keep up the writing, you inspire so many!
I’m currently listening to your book on CD. Your story have touched me deeply…
