I just saw the rerun episode for the first time on Oprah today. Needless to say, I was teary eyed for the entire segment. My husband and I have an 8 month old little boy and I can’t even begin to imagine if one of us was doing this alone this whole time. Thank you for lifting my spirits today. Your little girl is beautiful and please continue to blog! Happy Father’s day!

dear matt, my friend and teacher had lost her life as well due to a blood clot a month ago. she just had her second child…the next day after delivery is when the clot happened. she was 32. i am asking and praying that you read this and can help me with any information on how to help her husband…hes very very depressed, he talks about dying all the time so he can be with her. i dont know how to help him…i bought your book for him to read so he knows that he is not alone in this type of situation. i want him to know that you made it through such a horrific time and that he can to….in time. i want him to know that someday he will be able to wake up in the morning and it will be easier to go about his day. please again any info would be much appreciated! sincerely tanya
