update – 10:30pm.

another uneventful weekend (thankfully).
we napped a lot.
hospital bedrest is really tiring.
and exceedingly boring.
not sure how liz does it all day.
(for almost 3 weeks now).
liz still can’t shower.
but she did get another sponge bath.
which gave me an opportunity to sneak away.
i went to check on our house.
no burglars have visited us since the last one on [...]

update – 9:50pm.

two dr. visits.
dr. ultrasound visited this afternoon.
said that baby photos look great.
(i was in a meeting so i missed the photo session).
+6 ounces from last week = 4lbs 2oz.
she’s still using her umbilical cord as a jump rope.
which means she may still join us a little earlier than may 8th
dr. nelson visited and contemplated increased [...]

waited until 10:37pm.
no sign of dr. ultrasound.
we’ll likely see him sometime tomorrow.
hopefully his absence means everything is awesome.
that’s what i’ll assume.

update – 10:30pm.

uneventful weekend (medically speaking).
on a personal front, it was a very busy weekend.
liz/madeline updates:
vistited with many visitors.
lots of phone calls.
got to know the nurses even better.
shopped for baby gear.
read lots of baby books.
matt updates:
took care of liz/madeline.
slept on a really uncomfortable fold-out chair (12 days and counting).
because of lots of good news
and because we had [...]
