liz got a plant, i got a balloon.

baby’s not acting up so she’s staying put for now…

hospital room mani/pedi.

mobile manicurist/pedicurist dayna came to visit liz this morning. she used all sorts of eco-friendly products to beautify. amazing how these things bring tears of joy. this is the happiest liz has been in weeks… happy mom = happy baby. dr. confirmed the same. thanks to mari for the most unbelievably thoughtful gift. you’re awesome.

update – 10:00pm

debbie arrived from the sf. liz watched all of us eat pizza. baby occasionally lets us know she still wants out. yet she remains in. everyone is exhausted. all is well. crystal ball says that liz will receive a welcome surprise tomorrow morning. courtesy of a good friend. i’ll get some photos.

update – 1:00pm.

more good news from dr. nelson. baby’s heart rate is looking good and she’s kicking harder than ever. she may stay inside a little longer. which is good ’cause we weren’t expecting her until at least early may. liz can eat normal food (no longer just jello and water). the flowers still smell great. and [...]
