Matt, I’m a fellow Hopkins High alum, and heard about your news through the grapevine. I am so sad for your loss, and equally happy for the delight of your baby girl. I am praying for you and your darling daughter, that you find a path through the grief and experience supreme joy in your lovely Madeline. Sara (Bergquist) Leary

I got the chance to see baby Madeline today and she’s the most precious, perfect angel I’ve ever seen. She’s a little blond peanut, and she seems like she’s doing wonderfully. I know her momma would have been madly in love with her. Matt you will be a wonderful daddy… You already are in fact. You will find the strength to do what you have to do, you’ll see. It’s in you, because that tiny little bundle of love needs you to be strong.
