got lots of sleep
last night.
went to bed
at 9:45.
woke up
at 2:30am
to feed madeline.
didn’t want to do it.
was in the middle of
a dream
about
liz.
(weird, ’cause i almost never remember my dreams, but this one was vivid).
she was back with us
after her death.
i was trying to
tell her about everything
that’s happened since
she died.
told her all [...]
woke up early
to escape the
house before the
a/c guys arrived.
went to the coffee shop
in atwater village,
(again).
read some e-mails
while awesome auntie deb worked.
got one from our
our friends at cribsheet.
they posted a
follow-up post
on us and some of the
sweet people
who’ve shown us extra kindness.
that post made me blush a little.
(they’re so nice to us)…

day #2 with the
air conditioning guys
in the house
(they hope to be done by friday).
we had
to retreat rather early.
to get out
of their way.
headed straight to
the coffee shop
in atwater village.
spent most of the morning
drinking tea and
responding to e-mails
while madeline slept
and awesome auntie deb
worked on her work.
sometime during
the morning
i got an e-mail from
unknown [...]
today was a great day.
and why
shouldn’t it be?
maddy hit the
8-week mark.
she’s thriving physically
and seems to get happier
and smarter.
everyday.
we started off the day
by getting up early
to meet with the guys
coming to the
house to install our air conditioner.
since late last summer
liz
had one dream…
(besides having a healthy baby)
that dream was to have ac
