i am back again to mediate.
thanks to everyone for making things interesting while i was gone.
everyone is right.
everyone is wrong.
let me tell you a story that should help everyone understand how i deal with things…
at liz’s first memorial service (in pasadena), my brother david (the single, 21 year old) got up to say a few very, very kind words about liz. in the middle of his speech, a woman in the audience (one of liz’s friends) yelled out, “what’s your number?”
now, i thought this was the funniest fucking thing i had ever heard, spoken at a moment that was one of the worst of my life. it was the perfect way to honor liz. she would have laughed her ass off if the same thing had happened at my funeral.
some in the crowd may have thought it inappropriate, but for those who know us, it was the most appropriate thing in the world.
same thing with the comments i’ve been getting. i’ve gotten personal e-mails from some of the more frequent commentors, apologizing for saying inappropriate things. i don’t find them inappropriate. others have written me to tell me that they specifically say inappropriate things just to make me laugh. i like that. i need laughs in my life. i’m frequently sad (way more frequently than anyone can imagine). i need a diversion for my sadness.
a funny diversion.
and don’t worry about offending me.
but i also like the fact that people i don’t even know are defending me, trying to bring the focus back.
that said.
quit fighting.
give each other a big, fat virtual hug.
and keep sending me those t-shirt ideas.
(aj & i will be working on some things tonight, after the twins game).

Can’t wait to hear about your first Father’s Day!
Looking forward to the post with all the details for your first Daddy’s Day! Enjoy the fishing trip…WITHOUT the internet! Boy, I don’t know what I’d do with myself
THe full Minnesotan experience. Must be great to be home. I just wanted to tell you that even though this song may be too mainstream, that song by John Mayer, “Dreaming with a Broken Heart”- I think of you and Maddy everytime I hear it, and I listen to the great KS95- that if you remember it, likes to play the same songs over and over again. And you know the cool thing about you is- you can truly tell how much you adore Maddy. It’s amazing. Hope you had a great first Father’s Day and caught a really big fish. I will be looking forward to your posts.
I can’t wait to hear…
I was really hope to come out on Sunday. I mapquested directions and everything… Unfortunately I had way too many family events planned for the weekend that got in the way of having a happy, cooperative two year old. I am still holding out hope that I will somehow run into you while you are here, so I can bombard you with a big huge hug!!! I hope you had a great father’s day and Maddy is having a great b-day.
p.s. I have a little something that I was going to bring on Sunday for you and maddy. Where do you suggest I send that?
Have a wonderful fishing trip! I keep thinking of that photo of Liz beaming and holding up a fish she’d caught. That picture impressed me because, a) Liz just looks so freaking happy, and, b) I’m too much of a wuss to enjoy fishing. I just don’t do worms. I think it’s pretty bad-ass that Liz wasn’t too much of a girly-girl to fish and have fun.
I hope you can feel close to her while you’re out enjoying the big nowhere. You’ll have to catch some big ones for the both of you.
xxxxxxx
Happy First Father’s Day (a day late) Don’t let the BIG one get away…
Have a great fishing trip! Maybe your angling skills will show up your golfing ones? Can’t wait to see the fishing wardrobe
btw… re: “the aftermath” series on flickr… looks like you guys really know how to have a good party!
While we await the return of Matt and more photos of Maddy, may I suggest that we bandy about a few name ideas for our group? As much as I love “internet broads,” it does sort of evoke Bea Arthur, cigarettes, and Aqua Net. Plus it excludes people from our group like the always delightful Xbox4NappyRash, and Dan the Fireman who likes potty-mouthed women.
So, let’s see… I’ll start the ball rolling…
How about Team Logelin?
Matt’s Marauders?
Matt Logelin’s Flying Circus?!
Pool party! If there are no pictures of a chubby baby in a bathing suit, I’m going to be disappointed.
I’m looking forward to hearing all about the big day!
Enjoy the fishing trip – and disconnecting from the digital world for a bit! As much as i love getting to read your posts and catch up with how Miss M & your day is going – I’m even more happy that you’re getting some down time!
Enjoy- and I’ll just be checking back here to see the update later!
Fishing sounds great! It’s been years for me….
I hope Maddy’s Pool Party was fun. Can’t wait to hear about it (and see the pics of course!!)
I LOVE fishing! Just caught my very first one ever Memorial weekend! A nice fat Blue Gill! Can’t wait to hear how your Fathers Day went
Happy Father’s Day Matt!! Hope you had a great first Father’s Day!
OK- so how ’bout while Matt’s away we do what has been suggested by Kate from Northridge and others to CLICK AWAY on the Google ads? (By doing so, money goes back to Matt and Maddy.)
Get Clicking!
(((((hugs)))))
Happy Father’s Day.
I have a new little guy, born April 4th. Our Littles aren’t too far apart and for that reason your story really touches me (not that it would touch many others for many other reasons – okay now stop touching people LOL). Anyway, I read up on you guys every day. I wish I had something great and wise to say but I don’t. I do play Mario Kart on the Wii if you care for a challenge from Kansas City.
Cyn
Hope you had a good First Father’s day – if Madeline could talk, I am sure she would tell you that you are her world and she is a very lucky little girl.
Hey,
I have read your blog after catching your guest post on Chrissy’s storked blog, and it really affected me. I have always had this horrible fear of losing my husband, and the father of my 2 children… (my Sophie is only 1 month older than your maddy.) I told him about your story on father’s day (he’s not an internet guy) and he teared up (he’s a former Marine, and an diesel engine mechanic) so (The tearing up) that means a lot. Honestly, it helped me appreciate my husband so much more, and helped me realize that every moment counts. Your wife was such a beauty, I can tell by your stories, and i know your Maddy will know that, because of your love for your Liz. I just wanted to thank you for sharing your story, (and your cute ass baby… I got’s one too, and ya know they is cute) and helping me realize what a lucky life I lead.
Thank You again,
Tiffany W.
catch a BIG FUCKER matt!!!
By the way, Otis Redding was played to my babies daily in utero…. And they still love him. We listen to him now every time stuff gets too cranky around here.
Happy Father’s Day to you. Your pictures of Madeline are BEAUTIFUL. She looks so much like the pictures I’ve seen of Liz. My prayers continue… I check this site every day. I still don’t understand the robot thing, though….I continue to read…
Just came across your blog. I can’t get you and Liz out of my head. I have a baby 9 days younger than Maddy and am about the same age as Liz was. I can remember what I was doing on March 24-25…….waiting for a baby to come, and how uncomfortable I was. With my first child I was in the hospital for 6 weeks…….for the exact opposite reason Liz was. I had too much fluid…….causing contractions every 2-4 minutes. I went into labor several times. It was such a difficult time for us (my husband and I)……..gosh. I am so sorry for your loss. You are going to be a wonderful father to her! I heard this song and started to cry……..because I thought of you and Maddy.
Your baby blues
So full of wonder
Your curlicues
Your contagious smile
And as I watch
You start to grow up
All I can do is hold you tight
Knowing
Clouds will rage in
Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms
Story books
Are full of fairy-tales
Of kings and queens
And the bluest skies
My heart is torn just in knowing
You’ll someday see
The truth for lies
When the
Clouds will rage in
Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms
Castles they might crumble
Dreams may not come true
Cause you are never all alone
Cause I will always
Always love you
Hey I
Hey I
Will love
Clouds will rage in
Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms
In my arms
Welcome home. Or back. Or whatever you call this place besides just the mn.
Looking forward to hearing about “YOUR” day!
I too, am sorry I missed the get together. We were entertaining family that day and had a power outage from the storm Saturday night to deal with. I hope you had fun meeting your many fans!
I hope you have a great time during the rest of your Minnesota visit.
Happy belated Father’s day Matt and happy 12 week birthday Madeline!
@ Kate in the Northridge, et al. . .
I agree- I am too young to be called a broad, and I do love our blog buddies of the opposite sex- I vote for “Team Logelin”.
Nice call. . .
Matt,
Looking forward to hearing about your 1st Father’s Day, Maddy’s pool party and your fishing trip!
@ Kate in the Northridge::::i vote for “team Logelin”
Happy Father’s Day!
Best wishes.
@ Kate in Northridge
1. Maddy’s Bitches
2. Maddy’s Peeps
3. Team Logelin
4. In true Matt style, just simply:

7. Team Love a Logelin
8. m. l. & m.
9. Team Robot
10. Team Fuck With Matt and Suffer the Consequences
I just spent waaaaaaay too long on that. srsly.
@Matt- Hope your trip is great and the weather cooperates.
I’ve been reading your blog for the last week after Jackie mentioned it on was mentioned on Jackie’s Mothering Nature. I feel for you, in all you’ve lost, but share the joy of your beautiful babe as I have two young daughters of my own. I feel also for all that Liz will miss out on and knowing that you’ll treasure it for the both of you.
I just found your blog through the Atwater Village Newbie blog. First off – Happy Father’s Day. I am sorry for your loss, it is truly tragic.
I read some of the old posts – it’s also tragic that someone suggested you put your daughter up for adoption. I’m a dad too and the thought makes my stomach turn. My daughter is now two and a half and my son turned a year old today (he was born on father’s day last year which was pretty cool). Both kids are formula fed and I swear my daughter is a genius so those reports about breast milk making kids smarter are bogus if you ask me. I think more parental love and involvement are far more important and you’ve obviously got that base covered. Keep up the good work dad – time and your daughter will get you through it.
@ kate in northridge….
great idea!!
I do like “Team Logelin”…. and “Team Love a Logelin”
hmm… maybe
“stranger (cant freakin figure out how to strikethrough?) friends of logelin”
its late, and i have mommy brain…am not very creative late at night…so if i think of anything great i will write later!
@ Kate in the Northridge I vote for “team Logelin”
@ Matt even I’m so far away…maybe someday we could arrange a M&M get together in Argentina…I could guarantee lot of fun!…
I hope you enjoy your fishing trip and I also can’t wait to read about your father’s day =)
@ Kate in the Northridge — I vote for “team Logelin”
@ Matt — even I am far far away… Maybe someday we could arrange a M&M get together here in Argentina…I could guarantee lot of fun!
FELIZ DIA DEL PADRE!!!!
hi matt – hope your father’s day and subsequent fishing trip were part of the healing…if not, you have us (plus, you know, those real life people too!)
Matt, I hope you had a great Father’s Day and that Maddy had an awesome 12/52 birthday! Can’t wait to hear about that and your fishing adventures. A friend of mine flew into MN on the same day you did and said she saw you in the airport. I wouldn’t have been able to resist giving you a great big hug! I hope today will be easier for you. We’re here for you if you need us.
And by the way, my vote is for “Flowers in Maddy’s Garden of Awesome.”
I’m glad I’m not the only one who was thinking 27 years old does not implicate “broad” status.
K in the N: I do like Team Logelin. Plus we sound less creepy than “Internet Broads,” which (rightfully) implies we’re a misfit circus of characters that Matt, by and large, doesn’t know.
Logelin’s Misfit Circus?
@ Kate my vote is for “team logelin” or “flowers in Maddy’s Garden…” also did you people see a few days ago someone offered to do screenprint shirts as a fundraiser thing. We should totally get on that!
@ Matt hope the fishing is awesome, good company, good beer, good memories. Can’t wait to hear all about it!
Happy Father’s Day! belatedly.
worms, fish, and no internet? please tell me that there will be sunshine, laughter and beer to make up for that terrible trio.
Hope you had an enjoyable first Father’s Day
Fishing? Without the internets? See, this is why I never do nature – no internets. I hope your father’s day was spectacular!
Hope you had a great Father’s Day and a good fishing trip Matt! Can’t wait to hear all about it.
Matt,
My name is Brian Johnson – we went to high school together, and I married Aimee Johnson (who also went to Hopkins).
We heard about your story through other Hopkins students, and obviously cannot even begin to understand what you must be feeling and going through. Aimee lost her mom last year, and it was an incredible lesson in grief for both of us. We learned that one of the most helpful things during our misery was people who would come up to us and simply say “This sucks,” and cry with us a while.
So, it’s not much to offer, but we are definitely feeling how much this situation sucks, and we think of you and your gorgeous daughter often.
Brian/Aimee
@ Matt~ Enjoy your day fishing. I live across the street from a lake though my kids and husband fish weekly, I have not due to our newest little one. I soooooo miss it. Cast a few for me!!
@Jenn in N~ “Team Logelin” is great!!!!!
But I also like Grace’s: “I’m a Flower in Maddy’s Garden of Awesome”. m.l.& m. is a good one too.
I do not know if anyone saw my post yesterday as I was late writing in. But I can silkscreen T’s if interested. we could do it as a fundraiser for Madeline. 20 total, 10 for cost of T and shipping and 10 for Madeline for a savings account!
Just an idea!!
Love the teeshirt idea…love “team logelin”, love “team love a logelin”, love “i’m a flower in maddy’s garden of awesome.”
@K in the N – check out cafepress.com…you can create *things* there pretty quickly and easily. I started one just to see how it works….check it out. http://www.cafepress.com/teamlogelin
happy to help out in any way I can…you guys are all awesome!
Matt…thanks for letting us use your blog as a chat forum
I also vote for Team Logelin
Oh and Matt…you didn’t dress like a dork yesterday, you just chose to dress European with your black socks on. :OP
Another random thing…I am forced to watch the European Soccer championships right now since I live here and did you know that you bear a striking resemblance to one of the German soccer players? Seriously…you look like twins! I’ll try to remember his name the next time he plays.
OK, hope you had a good fishing day!
Tschuß!
I LOVE Team Logelin and “I’m a Flower in Maddy’s Garden of Awesome.”
The former is easier to type in blog references, but the latter would be so, so awesome on a T-shirt! (Hmmm….I might have to get one of those made.)
Hope you had a good first father’s day, Matt!
I ditto Juanita’s comment. I love the photos of Liz fishing! They are among my favorites. She is literally Beaming! She was quite the go-getter huh?
I hope you are enjoying your time away – from all the busyness – time to find some quiet and connection – rest and relaxation – and peace – out away from it all.
May this Tuesday only suck for the big one you catch.
I like Team Logelin, too; it’s “logo friendly”.
@Grace, a stranger: LOL over you and your suggestions for “Team Fuck With Matt…” and “Maddy’s Bitches” and “wtf robot”! Srsly, you guys are too much!
@katie j: I cannot BELIEVE how cute those shirts are that you did over on Cafe Press! And you did baby things too! So awesome! Can the $$$ for those go to Matt, or how does that work — do you have any idea?
@Jeanine, I love your screenprinting idea too! Too much good stuff.
@Becky: Logelin’s Misfit Circus, couldn’t get more accurate than that!
We need a Manager, cuz now someone needs to come in and tell us what to do next.
I just hope we have something put together in time for the L.A. meet & greet so we can all pose for pix in matching T’s with the robot!
@ Matt – Happy belated Father’s Day! Hope you had fun fishing and didn’t go through internet withdrawal. We’re all going through Matt withdrawal here, but will keep on keeping on until you come back and indulge us some more.
@ all – Loving the t-shirt idea, with half the proceeds going into an account for Maddy. We could do 2 different ones… Team Logelin with a Robot pic, and “i’m a flower in maddy’s garden of awesome” (love that!) with a pic of maddy in the face of a daisy. Just a thought.
http://www.spiegel.de/fotostrecke/0,5538,PB64-SUQ9MzI1MDMmbnI9Mw_3_3,00.html
Ok, see if this works. The Dude’s name is Christoph Metzelder (the guy on the left obviously)
Ladies, don’t you all think Matt looks a lot like him?? He’s hot, ja? :O)
Shit…me again. Ok, so you don’t look like the first Dude. Got to click on “weiter” twice to see the Dude I’m talking about.
OK….I will go away now and find something useful to do :O)
Hey Matt – hope your father’s day was nice and that you are relaxing and enjoying your time in the MN. Can’t wait to see pictures of the pool party and the kick ass fish I’m sure you caught
I vote for Flower in Maddy’s Garden . . . or Team Logelin
I would totally buy any type of T-shirt that was created! I love the “i’m a flower in maddy’s garden of awesome” the best.
@ katie j–love the design you made up so quickly!
K in N – How about “Team Logelin in The CA”…true Matt lingo! “Team Logelin”, “Team Love a Logelin”, or “I’m a Flower in Maddy’s Garden of Awesomeness” are all great titles in my book.
Jeanine from the CO – What a great idea!!!
Matt – Hope you slept with a belly full of yummy fish!
ooh, I kinda like “stranger (strikethrough-can’t figure it out either) friend of Logelin”. But Team Logelin is nice too.
Like the “Flowers in Maddie’s Garden if Awesomeness”-especially since I am a huge gardener (=somewhat of a dork). But, it might be a stretch to call some of us “Flowers” (hahah!!!) I’m kidding. For real…Sorry, paranoid after Jennifer’s comment yesterday. I would hope that Matt “knows” us well enough by now that the golf attire comments were just gentle ribbing. We all love Matt and Madeline more than anything and would never do anything to hurt them or their feelings, right girls?
Im all about the t-shirt, though…whatever anyone decides. A pink shirt, perhaps? In honor of Madeline and Matt’s pink tie?
Also, just to let everyone know, in case anyone else feels like doing this…I have a bunch of these but am ordering more. For those of us that live in the “colder” regions and can plant daffodils, there is a beautiful variety called “Elizabeth Ann” (white with pink center). I have grown them for years and they are beautiful. I am planting more as a sort of “mini-tribute”. You can buy them at http://www.jacksonandperkins.com, as well as a million other places. Wish there was a way to make this a moenymaker for the “Logelin fund”, so if anyone has an idea….
How about
Front:
Team Logelin
Back:
i dwell in the garden of awesome
(and you can, too)
http://www.mattlogelin.com
or
i’m a flower in maddy’s
garden of awesome
http://www.mattlogelin.com
Team logelin is good, but I LOVE Jess in the Aloha State’s idea:
“Strangers [strikethrough; i couldn't figure it out either, Jess] friends of Logelin.”
It says “Matt” to me a lot more than just Team Logelin!
@K in the N…
I don’t really have a clue how cafepress works….just signed up this morning! (productive day at work…) But looks like we could set it up so that any commission checks get mailed right to Matt (or the memorial fund, or wherever we want…).
I don’t know how the commission is paid though – might be a better “deal” to have Jeanine do it. And it looks like whoever is receiving the checks will have to pay income taxes on it – wonder if we can somehow set it up as a non-profit??? I’m lost here so if anyone has any ideas, please feel free to jump in!
I do like the little robot guy with his headphones though
well, from the looks of your pictures, it looks like you drank like a fish… or somebody else did…. How fun…
Hope you had an awesome day…
~g
Kate – I’m voting for “Team Logelin” AND “I’m a flower in Maddy’s garden of awesome.” Although “wtf robot ” is priceless.
Nancy – e-mail me – I’d love to see your pictures – I’m an idiot for not getting your e-mail address.
Matt – Hope the fish were biting! Magdalene and I so enjoyed the party (Liz’s family was so welcoming and fantastic) and as promised I’m here to tell everyone that Maddy REALLY is a perfect/well behaved baby – Matt’s not making it up everytime he says it – she was passed from family member to stranger/friend over and over again and she was perfectly content.
Katy j~
I LOVE your T @ cafe press. But are you the desinger of the robot?? I was over on Etsy looking at robot material for Matt and feel in love with the prints/cards of that robot. I saw he was copyrighted!! (Just FYI)
hope you have a nice relaxing fishing trip!
CafePress is awesome for making all kinds of custom stuff, but I don’t think Matt and Maddy wouldn’t net anywhere near as much that way as they would through Jeanine’s offer or a screenprinting shop. (On the other hand, it would take care of shipping and payment logistics…)
@Jeanine: do you have a shop, or online images of your work?
Also, with all Matt’s great photos, why mess with someone else’s copyright?! With Matt’s permission, how about using this for art:

or

or

I love the idea of including stranger [strikethrough] friend somewhere on there, too!
I hope that you had a great father’s day.
You are doing an amazing job!
Ladies Ladies Ladies (And Gentleman too!)
Strangers (strikethrough not working??) “Friends of Logelin in the Garden of Awesome” or something along those lines is a great idea ~
I’ve been sitting here thinking all morning of some fun name that was Robot related – ie: each letter stands for something really cool and neat – R. O. B. O. T.
But nothing is coming to me – Regardless – I’m in for a shirt or too, especially if we can set something up so that proceeds benefit our friends Matt and Maddy!
@ everyone, i thought i’d pop on and leave a comment while matt is away on the fishing trip.
we’re working on a few different t-shirt designs, i have some robot designs that i’ve created in illustrator from pictures that matt has taken of his robots. so no copyright issues to worry about
i forget who posted about screen printing — we’ve been looking at spreadshirt, but we’ll chat with you when matt is back, thank you everyone for all the ideas and offers of help.
of course everyone is free to make up t-shirts
but i thought you’d like to know that we’ll have some designed and ready here shortly!
thanks for all your comments and support
@ Kathryn in Berlin, he does look like Matt..haha thats cool. also I agree with a post from yesterday, Matt could tour and visit our cities then we could have get togethers and wear his Team Logelin shirts…just a thought…oh and yes bring your brother..hes hott!
For support of course..
@Kate in the Northridge – Seriously – is this girl for real? She’s obviously new here!

OK, I must say something because I know Matt’s too kind to do so, but to those “broads” commenting on Matt’s attire (you KNOW who you are), watch it. I mean, why is it important to comment on that, why does it matter that he’s not golfing in the “right outfit” or if he’s wearing black socks? Are you kidding? His clothes should be overlooked. It’s so inappropriate to critique him on anything right now. We’re lucky he’s exposing his life so publicly to the point where it’s even entertaining some of us, removing some of us from our reality a little bit, and then you talk about his outfit? Come on, if anything his experience should be an example of new perspective, as he demonstrates this very well as he’s publicly showing that he’s trying to move forward each day. Matt, wear whatever you want. You’re looking better and better. Sorry to confront this.
@Kate in the Northridge – what I meant to say was – GET ON THIS SHIT! You always have our backs!
LOVE the idea of using one of Matt’s photos. The fist one that em linked is awesome.
@ AJ, thanks for the update…can’t wait to see the designs you guys have been working on!
p.s. how are all these comments getting posted with Matt mia? AJ?
Thanks so much A.J., it helps us to have guidance from Matt’s flesh-and-blood peeps.
I think it’s fair to say, there will be a market for whatever is created!
@jennifer –
as one who called matt’s black socks a “glamour don’t”, i can assure you i said that in jest and with only the best intentions at humor.
like everyone else who reads this blog, i am inspired by matt’s courage and by his bravery to open up his life and his world to the rest of us. i wish him only the best!
I think it would be nice to have the option of kids shirts as well.
Maybe even coffee mugs for all of us who get up so early or stay up late to read Matt’s blog. Just a thought
@yvonne…I second that brother thing…but I am married. Oh..I was just referring to the support thing…lol
taking a break from fishing to address a few things.
@yvonne-
which brother were you interested in?
(btw…i’ve got five. two are married, one is underage…that leaves you with two from which to choose, unless of course you’re underage yourself). i’m with the two eligible brothers right now. they want photos.
@everyone-
i don’t mind the teasing about my clothes. the golf outfit was preplanned…i knew how ridiculous it looked and thought it would make some folks laugh. if i dressed like that for reals there’s no way that i’d post a photo.
@everyone-
t-shirts are an awesome idea. as aj mentioned above, he’s worked on some kick-ass designs. in the mean time, keep the ideas coming. fucking hilarious.
Wait… i thought there was no internet where you were fishing
I call dibbs on the underage Logelin brother.
@kate….what about your trifecta
Matt–
If you dressed like that for reals, you wouldn’t KNOW you shouldn’t post a photo of yourself like that…you’d just think that was normal.
I’m trying to think of a way to work “fuck” into that sentence and not making it. Damn…I’m letting myself down.
ooh! Ill take a Logelin brother…doesnt matter which one, Im sure they are all good!
Hurray for AJ to step in and take care of business while Matt’s away! Thank God! Can’t leave us women to it without SOMEONE in charge! Things could get out of fucking control around here – especially with some of the fucking comments I’ve been reading today – ie: regarding Matt’s wardrobe!
GASP!
@jen-
blackberry technology allows me to communicate with you (and to edit the damn typo in the original post).
PS – AJ I for sure want a shirt with the word FUCK on it somewhere –
Not entirely appropriate for a mother of a 2.5 and a 1.5 year old but I’ll wear it and wear it with fucking pride!
Ooh, Ill take a Logelin brother, doesnt matter which one, Im sure they are all good! ;-D
Ooops, double post…just wanted to make sure I didnt miss out, I guess! Amen, Darcie! We can’t be trusted to not break out in catfights or something….
@AJ (& Matt) – I second Darcie’s request!
@darcie – I agree. Supporting Matt & Madeline is well worth a few disapproving looks! The word FUCK should definitely be included.. as should a robot.
How about a onesie or child sized shirt (excluding the word fuck, of course) anything in the works? My 7 month old would like to get in on this too!
Hope you had fun fishing, Matt. Can’t wait to see the full post!
I hope you had a good Father’s Day!
Thinking of you and Madeline.
No catfights, some people have lives…….
Sorry – me again…While I’m more than happy with my current husband situation – if you are looking to pimp people out Matt – I would like to call dibs on the grandparents.
I could sure use a good set of grandparents – or even just one grandparent – doesn’t have to be a set – I don’t need them to supply gifts…just a little bit of time to catch my breathe while someone keeps an eye on my kids!! I do have to ask…Do Dad&Bev drop the Fbomb? His posts have been awfully clean – He may not care for potty mouthed folk like myself.
Well since we are putting dibs on the Logelin boys count me in!! But in all seriousness! Matt I love reading your blog every morning and I have my entire office hooked! Thank you for being so strong and for allowing all us strangers into your life!
I would love a shirt and would wear it proudly!
Maddy’s Garden of awesomeness is cool!
Matt- I seriously did like the golf outfit! My husband and his friend used to dress up in college, heck they still do! Guys will do anything for a laugh. I hope you are fishing and relaxing. Wow 5 brothers. Are they all as cute as you?
Seeing as there appears to be some interest in the Logelin brothers, and there are so many male Logelins, perhaps a Logelin brother calendar (Matt included!) is the next big fundraiser? Think firefighter beefcake style. It would be the next best thing to having your own Logelin.
Just to chime in here – I love the Team Logelin on the front and the I dwell in the garden of awesome on the back. But, like everyone else I would buy just about anything that would benefit Matt and Madeline.
@Jennifer – we all know what Matt has been through and part of our job (or at least what most of us are trying to do) is add to laughter to his life when possible. I believe today that has been accomplished.
@K in the N – it is a sad day when you can’t figure out how to use the word fuck in your sentence.
@Matt – I hope you caught some big ass fish or at the very least had a good time.
Happy (belated) Father’s Day, Matt! I’ve obviously spent too much time watching the video of Matt trying to get Madeline to smile, too cute! Count me in on the t-shirts AND the tallest of the available Logelin brothers, purdy please
i’m so happy we all are fully capable of
entertaining
each other whilst we sit around and
wait for Matt to publish
another post…. although i have to say im super stoked about
the productive ideas floating
around and too want “in” on the t shirts
and alternate title for us “broads” where, at fucking 27,
and fairly fashionable
don’t quite fit in with that terminology!!!!!
hope you are enjoying
yourself thoroughly matt and am
hoping you are thinking
positive thoughts today:)
Kind of feel left out over here in beantown
Pissed off in the MN–
Yeah, that one had me scratching my head too.
AJ–
I’ll echo Kate in the Northridge and express my gratitude that Matt’s real live friends, who know him better than we ever could, are already on the T-shirt thing and taking care of shit. Hope none of us stepped on any toes.
Darcie–
I am SO with you!! Ever since Matt’s party, all I can think about is how much I would love Grandma Candee and Grandpa Tom G. in my life! What truly lovely people. I’m totally jonesin’. How pathetic am I…?
And as an aside, Darcie–Are you, like me, having trouble posting on Cribsheet now without swearing…? I’m getting so spoiled over here…
I’m with you, Darcie! I’d like one that says
“matt logelin has a fucking awesome robot.”
(note to aj: i don’t know about all its features, but “awesome fucking robot” should probably be avoided…)
Alternatively, one that just says “Fuck you, Jill.” would be a hoot, too.
Oops – that was Katy that couldn’t work the word fuck into her sentence. Sorry – so hard to keep up with it all on here….. It was funny no matter who the fuck said it!!!
i read this blog everyday. frequently. i read/refresh many times a day never knowing what to say. but i can say this: the community that has risen from matt sharing his story is strong. beautiful and strong. and fucking funny.
i laugh; i cry; i repeat. today i laughed out loud (at all the talk of single logelin bros.) – not too uncommon, but it reminded me of how connected i am to the story, to watching matt and madeline not only survive, but thrive. and you – people he doesn’t even know – the internet broads, team logelin, matt’s misfit circus, all of you raise the bar for the rest of us.
i know we are all inspired by matt’s strength and grace – not to mention his photo skills, writing skills and seriously dry sense of humor. but i am also, and have been, more and more lately inspired by those regulars who really have stepped in to offer so much thoughtful advice, witty observations and unique comfort to a stranger/now a friend – from as far away as berlin and argentina all the way up to his neighborhoods in the LA the MN.
i just wanted to quit lurking. and btw – i vote for
Front:
Team Logelin
Back:
i dwell in the garden of awesome
(and you can, too)
http://www.mattlogelin.com
or
i’m a flower in maddy’s
garden of awesome
http://www.mattlogelin.com
and: “stranger (cant freakin figure out how to strikethrough?) friends of logelin”
and for all of you vying to catch the next available logelin: good luck. they seem like a pretty fun bunch of guys. not to mention, immediate (and legal) autieness to madeline.
long – i know – but it has been building up for several weeks now.
and by the way – going back a bit (this is what i get for holding it in so long).
canter’s deli – amazing. i have only been to LA once, but i made my way there and loved every bite. reubens the size of my head.
and on a related topic: bacon makes everything better. always.
Matt- I really did like the golf outfit! My husband and his friends dress up like that all the time. Hope you are relaxing and enjoying the fishing. And wow 5 brothers! Are they as cute as you are?
I will most def. get a shirt let me know where to order them.
@ everyone- you crack me up-
@ Em- I am pissing my pants at the hysterical thought of wearing a “Fuck you, Jill” shirt. I might have to bust out a Sharpie and just scrawl it on the top I’m wearing now. . . btw- are you Piper’s mom? If so, I just missed you at the party Sunday- you guys were just leaving as I was wallking in- I was too freaked out at that point to talk. . . bummer!
Elfeba-I didnt mean I was LOOKING for a catfight. Just joking that you never know with all of our “Big Personalities” (reference to the Office, for those who are fans).
Clearly, I am not one of us who HAS a life since Ive posted like 4 times today…
@em – LOL at “Fuck you, Jill”. That is hilarious!
i basically second everything “leigh in the sav” said. i am so connected, so concerned about how everything turns out for you and madeline, matt.
I’m really enjoying comments today. I’ve laughed out loud a few times today. I’m all for t shirt fun. I’d support the fun for sure. Especially if robots and the word fuck were involved. Kids shirts would be cool too. Toddler and Baby.
@ em: I agree that a t-shirt with the phrase “awesome fucking robot” might transport us from the Garden of Awesome to the Playboy Mansion in a hurry.
@K in the N: You may want to rethink the dibbage (yes, that’s a word) on the underage brother, or at least first inquire as to his UWFPS rate. He’s young you know… (That’s “Use of the Word Fuck Per Sentence.”)
@Matt: Admit it, you’d miss the Misfit Circus too much to go an entire day without reviewing the commentary shenanigans that take place.
Stranger (strikethrough) friend of Logelin is my favorite.
Matt, holy crap is this great weather to be out on a lake – I’m jealous. I hope you are relaxing the hell out of this Tuesday. And if relaxing isn’t happening, and this Tuesday is as sucky as all the others, please know we are all lifting you up in our thoughts.
I’m looking forward to hearing about the Sunday gathering. It would have been fun to go and put some faces to the names. I’ll have to make do with photos.
@Pissed off in the MN — thanks for the heads-up — I had missed that Jennifer thing altogether! Matt’s getting so many followers and comments, I’m really struggling to keep up at this point!
People are pretty interesting here on the interwebs… Lots of Joykill McFunsuckers. Just like in the real world, come to think of it!
If our antics are entertaining to The Mattster, that’s all I really care about. And I trust him to lettuce no.
@leigh in the sav: I’m so glad you’ve de-lurked!
My cousin (who lives in Dallas) owns a screen printing business that uses all water-based (i.e. chemical free) ink and dyes and natural/organic materials. I could talk to her to see what it would cost to print up a bunch of shirts/onsies/etc., if she’d be willing to do a custom order for us. I’m a walking pR for her – I love the shirts I have and always get compliments on them, and my b/f loves his tshirt saying it’s a great fit. Plus her baby things are adorable! Here’s the link to her stuff: http://www.harrilu.com
Count me in on the t-shirts. (whatever is decided is fine by me) I will let y’all duke it out over the Logelin boys (i’m already married) Can’t wait to see who wins
Kris–A sad day indeed. You have no idea! : )
BTW, anyone else find it hilarious that there are like 100 comments to this post and Matt didn’t even fucking post anything?!?! My GOD, we are losers.
Matt – I just learned of your story thru my March 08 baby board on babycenter.com My son (my fifth child) was born on March 20th. Ironically, on the evening of March 24th I was rushed back to the hospital with what the doctors thought was a pulmonary embollism. My heart rate was in the low 30′s. They ran every test under the sun and never found anything. To this day, we have no idea what happened. After reading your story, I realized that I didn’t truly understand the risk of pe until now. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I pray for you and Maddy everyday. I know she will grow up strong, healthy and intelligent because she has not only a loving and caring father but an incredible family to love and support her. Keep on keeping on. (and keeping us posted!)
everyone – I want a t-shirt!!! I love the “garden of awesome” idea. that is my favorite. The team logelin with a robot is my second favorite!
You guys freakin crack me up!
@ em – LOVE the “Fuck you, Jill” tee idea. Brilliant!
@M from the PA – LOL in response to Elfeba’s post…*Clearly, I am not one of us who HAS a life since Ive posted like 4 times today…* – ditto! Was thinking the same thing when I read it.
and @ leigh in the sav – welcome to this fun and wacky *family*. It truly is beautiful (and fucking funny!)
At all the MN stranger (cant freakin figure out how to strikethrough?) friends of M&M…I vote for putting together some kind of regular group gathering. Sounds like a lot of us have kids that can play together and it’d be fun to get to know all of you in person! Just a thought…
@lindsay d. — yup, that was/is me/us. sorry i missed you, too! (and i know what you mean. very wonderful…but still, surreal.
@leigh — way to let it out, girl!
since i’m here (and totally not getting any work done anyway), here’s another t-shirt idea:
kelli won the matt logelin big swearer of the week award and all i got was this fucking t-shirt
@em – Work? oh fuck! I’m supposed to be working! Thanks for the reminder!
100+ comments is what caused me to read through them, I look at the blog several times a day and have been missing out on the comment pages for a couple weeks now?
This is the icing on the cake for the blog. Although that’s debatable (spelling?) because I like icing more. So it could be the other way around….
Pysched about the shirts/baby shirts. I will let my child wear the “f” word…she can’t read yet.
Thanks for not editing your posts…I have to because of my work so it’s freaking awesome that you all don’t!!!
@Kate in the Northridge…McFunsuckers is almost as fun as my coworker’s common “ELFSUCKER!!!!” That’s a new word in our house now that the baby is learning speech!!!
Can someone email me Matt’s address…my husband and I have a gift for M and M….thanks. llannen@yahoo.com
I am dying laughing at Fuck you, Jill.
Matt – hope you enjoyed the fishing trip!
Em
I so love the Fuck you, Jill” t-shirt idea. That is too funny. I’m just another one that is getting absolutely nothing done at work today. But this is so much more fun.
@em – love the kelli t-shirt idea – too funny.
@K in the N – “McFunsuckers” – nice word!!
@ everyone, can you imagine if we all got together for one huge matt & madeline event? pretty sure the world would end
@ AJ or whoever ends up making the shirts…could we maybe have a fuckless version o’ shirt…pretty sure my husband would not support me wearing a “fuck” shirt around town. Don’t know why not
Glad you stepped in though, with all these ideas flying around someone might get hurt.
@ K in the N totally agree with your Joykill McFunsuckers comment…sometimes I think I live with one (see above)
Katie J.–
I was kinda thinkin’ the same thing…about the get-together, I mean. I’d be up for it!
omg. walk away from the computer – just for a bike ride with the kids to the zoo and see what I missed!
I am sitting here laughing my ass off!
@AJ – you better order t-shirts in the thousands. Can you imagine the mediating that will have to occur if you hit back order status?
I’m in for a shirt!
I love the idea of stranger (strike through) friend on the front and
I dwell in the garden of awesome on the back
MAKE KID SIZES TOO!!!!
You guys are all so awesome how everyone is coming together and the ideas being thrown out there!
welcome to leigh in the sav!
@em – fuck! I missed you at the party too! You seriously made me laugh so hard I cried. LOVE the idea of “kelli won the matt logelin big swearer of the week award and all i got was this fucking t-shirt”.
@katie j – would love a Minnesota lurkers get together. Great idea!!! Maybe we could invite the Logelin brothers for a few of you……
@ katie j we should totally start a team logelin play group…love it
@ em LOL “all I got was this fucking t-shirt”
@ matt I hope we are keeping you entertained while you wait for the fish to bite
Here’s me being honest with myself…haven’t gotten anything (productive) done today…but who cares, this is so much more fun.
oooo. I love the front and back idea with the website printed on the back. And the stranger (with strikethrough)friend!!! Love that too. And Robot art! Yay to everything.
But yeah, I’ll buy 45,000 of whatever is created if I’m honest.
@ K in the N- I knew that throwing up there “Maddy’s Bitches” would be a little over the top, but I knew this crowd was down. Well, except for Jill.
@ Matt- Funny story about your blog being EVERYWHERE… I am staying with friends during the week while taking some classes to complete my Master’s. Anyway not important… I parked myself in front of their computer just now to read all of the hilarious comments and when I started to type in “www.ma” whaddya know, a whole list of pages from the blog showed up in the pull down for the browser window. I had no idea my friend even knew about this blog (even though I posted it everywhere I blog/comment)!
It’s a beautiful day here in the midwest. I hope little Maddy girl is having a great time with the gp’s and all of the fam.
and why not add one more post…if you newbies (a.k.a glamour bitches)out there are looking for ways to help M&M you can always check out the blog that I set up to help them out
helpmattandmadeline.blogspot.com
I will never look at a fucking robot without thinking of you again. I saw robot kits today…….and I immediately thought of a man and his family that I follow on the internet at Borders when I took my kids for story time. You know, a lot of people would find that fucking weird.
thanks for the welcome. it’s nice to be here. feels good to let my presence known. : )
y’all were starting to have too much fun. so i decided it was time to come join the mix…
everyone: i adore the “stranger (cant freakin figure out how to strikethrough) friends of logelin” slogan its just so ml&m.
the MNers: pouting because i live so far from all you super cool lasses!
matt: i hope you catch the biggest fucking fish EVER today.
@katie j- would love to do a MN stranger friend of M&M get together on a regualr basis
ok here i go for post #2 of the day (and yes, before matt posts, just like the rest of us – lol). my comments are all so serious but i am really loving all of your comments! too funny, and i can’t wait to see the T-shirts! what makes me happy is that matt thinks they are “fucking hilarious”…THAT makes it all worth it!
I have been lurking too. Today is a big days of firsts for me. I sent a package off to LA (I sent it to the bank-didn’t want to intrude too much), and now I am posting. I have been reading this blog since the Star Tribune article. I spent finals week becoming addicted. Didn’t comment though. Once again, didn’t want to intrude. Today’s comments had made me realize though that this is a small family of sorts…one that I would really like to join! I love all your ideas and what a great way to show support. And really, way to stand up to the negative people. If you don’t want to read fuck, than stop reading! I too have a lot too say since I have had many emotions build up over the last month and a half but I am sure as I get into this group, I’ll know better what to say! Hope you can stand one more in the group!
how about…
stranger (strikethrough) friend of the gardener and the blossom in the garden of awesome
just kidding! (kinda)
that’s how i addressed the care package i sent, didn’t realize it rhymed until the guy at FedEx read it outloud!
so glad i attended the party on sunday. going in alone was a bit much on the nerves but the immediate welcome by awesome auntie debbie & grandpa tom g put me right at ease. they are WONDERFUL people. also, thanks to matt for the encouragement to attend, telling me that i knew you & that was enough. you rock my world!
plus the 3 hour wait to hold precious maddy was worth it! sigh. love her!!
@kathleen
I emailed you the pic yesterday…clearly you didn’t receive it?? something must be up with email. sent some to matt, too. wonder if he got ‘em?!? i will try again! glad you & your litle miss m. were there!
You’re an amazing dad, Matt! A friend gave me a link to your blog. I’ve cried all morning. Such a tender story. Madeline will be so thankful to have your memories to read later.
I think it took me about an hour to get through all the comments today! Oh what a riot…I’ve been trying not to laugh too loud and wake my napping kiddos. Why do I have the computer in the next room over again??
Anyway…love the t-shirt idea! I’m in for whatever design…although I love the robot idea or the garden of awesome…
@Katie J, I think that is a great idea for a get together!
@Matt, hope you are having fun fishing…you’ve got a great day to be out on the lake!
Toodles all….
Hi, all, AJ’s mention about Spreadshirt brought me here, and wow, what a story … draining and uplifting at the same time. My respect and admiration for Matt and how he’s handled and shared his and Madelin’s tragic loss of Liz. And what a great group of people that have banded together for support here. WOW.
I wanted to offer support if needed. I’m the CEO of Spreadshirt (that sounds big, but we aren’t “corporate”). Our team will help you out if you decide to go with our solution. Just drop me a note.
I wish you all the best.
Jana
another shirt idea……….
I met Maddy’s Daddy on the internet………LOL
Here’s an idea for the front of the t-shirt:
strangers (strikethrough) friends fucking suck robots in the garden of awesomeness
Sometimes we all need to go fishing where there is no internet (and no blackberry!)
Always wanting to play with the cool kids, sign me up for a shirt.
My thoughts:
1. oh my gosh I love this whole “thread”!! I’m glad I finally clicked the comments section…
2. is there a Matt Logelin message board? Because there so should be…
3. I love all the shirt ideas, I’ll def buy one, any one of them!
4. And sadly since Sept ’07 I’m officially taken (married) – No Logelin boys for me… but I DID marry a Matt!
This is fucking hilarious…
I just popped in to see if there were any updates (I actually had to be productive at work today) and would definitely LOVE a matt and maddy tee!!!
I like the front and back idea with the website.
Fuck, too bad I am getting married this weekend, i didn’t know there were any available logelin boys.
ps would love a matt and maddy lurkers group get together here in the mn, everybody seems so fucking awesome. keep the ideas rolling….
@ katie J & Laurie – Can I come to a get together if I don’t have any kids to share??
These comments have made my not so fun day at work a fan-fucking-tastic day!
Definitely agree with Sarah from the MA that it sucks not being in MN with all of the cool kids. Maybe we could get ML&M to come and visit the Greatest Ballpark ever!
Count me in for a t-shirt too!
I’m new here, but I’m definitely on board for Team Logelin with
“i dwell in the garden of awesome
(and you can, too)”
on the back. I’d buy! Now, to do the slash-through…I’m gonna geek-out for a bit and help all you on this one:
It’s
So
strangerfriend is (if this works on the comment)strangerfriend, just get rid of the spaces between.Hope this works/helps!
PS – Matt if you don’t catch any fish at least make up a great story/post for us to read and end it with “I was fucking kidding”.
Ah. It didn’t work. Let me try to explain again!!!
stranger
Just get rid of the …..’s
Maybe? Yes/no?
Lookin forward to the post!
btw, something you should appreciate when you get home and upgrade to FF3: about:robots
21 words, 130+ comments….WOW.
As for the shirts – awesome idea. I’d get one in a heartbeat. Although with the stupid fucking weather we’d be having here, make mine thermal!
My vote is for
Front:
Team Logelin
Back:
i dwell in the garden of awesome
(and you can, too)
http://www.mattlogelin.com
or
i’m a flower in maddy’s
garden of awesome
http://www.mattlogelin.com
and: “stranger (cant freakin figure out how to strikethrough?) friends of logelin”
@Anna:
I don’t get it.
All you blog bitches are cracking me up! Matt, you gotta appreciate your legions of fans!
@Katy who couldn’t figure out how to use the word fuck. I think you missed the obvious: …”you’d just think that was FUCKING normal”….
@jen in denver — the calendar idea is hilarious. (i’m taken, but brother nick is hot!)
@aj — keep us posted on the t-shirt situation. can’t wait to place my order
@kate in the northridge — again you’ve got me laughing. you’re the best.
@whomever came up with the “fuck you jill” t-shirt — i love it!
and just so no one gets the wrong idea — “blog bitches” is a term of endearment. seriously.
@Kris in the MN -
I have enough kids to share with you for a MN stranger/lurker/friend get together…..
I also need the address for Matt and Maddy so I can send them a package…please email me (matt or whoever): toto_tj@yahoo.com
@ all the MN playdate people-
I love that idea and I am in- although my suggestion would be to organize an adult only get-together first- (oooh- that sounds so diiiirrrty!) he hee- I don’t know about ya’ll, but I can’t hold much of a conversation when my kids are around. . . that way we could have a drink or 12, chat, talk about Matt and Madeline, of course, and then decide where to go from there-
Just a thought!
@Kim in MN – Thanks!!
Not THE Kelli but one that appreciates the word FUCK. I absolutely love the idea of a “fuck you jill” t-shirt.
Can’t wait for the fishing tales.
I like Lindsay’s idea and I am all about the stranger friends shirt (and no, I can’t figure out how to strike it either!).
@ Kris: I am also kid-less (unless you count my husband, who has the maturity level of a not so gifted 4 yr old) but would nonetheless enjoy a Minnesota get together.
As for t-shirts, perhaps we could also get one printed for all of our bosses, something to the tune of, “My Employee Spends All Her Time in the Garden of Awesome” on the front and “I Blame the Fucking Robot” on the back. Just for good measure.
Sounds like (another) MN get together needs to be planned!
I’m happy to coordinate, but need email addresses of those who’d like to attend.
Email me at katiej721 @ hotmail dot com (remove the spaces).
Need ideas too – when, where, etc.
Maybe a golfing outing, in honor of Matt?? I think I’d beat him as the worst golfer ever, but I can definitely dress better
Looking forward to it!
Maybe you all need to get eachothers email addy’s so you arent clogging up Matt’s Blog with playdate plans. I think its cool you have found eachother through his blog but you are making us out of MN people quite jealous!
p.s. Anna in the WA – still totally don’t get it….
I don’t know if my other reply posted but I love Lindsay’s idea and i real love the stranger friends idea (and no, I can’t figure out the strike through thing either). I think the shirts are a fantastic idea.
@Kris-kids not required for the get togethers, but I have 4 (you can share with me.
Okay! I’m gonna write it out, because I am failing horribly at every other attempt, apparently
put a “” then write stranger. Hehehe
THEN after stranger, do the same, only add a / before you write strike, then write friend. so its
(less than symbol) strike (greater than symbol) STRANGER (less than symbol) /strike (greater than symbol)
i like Team Logelin with stranger friend written on the back.
hey Matt if you’re ever on this side of the country i’ll be happy to host an East Coast Logelin Broads get together.
hugs from NJ
erica and Landon
OMG, I usually don’t click on the comments in Matt’s blogs but for some reason today I was COMPELLED to and I must say…you all have made me laugh my fucking ass off and turned a boring day into a not-so-boring day!!
I’ve only commented a couple times, but I’m a regular reader/lurker (I think I check in here at least 5-10 times a day) and I would LOVE a tshirt too!!!
@ Matt: I hope you had a fucking awesome Father’s Day and that you catch a lot of fish in between checking your blackberry for more comments from everyone here!!! Hugs to Maddy also!!!
Oh Erica I am so there if you do!
check out these cute little robots
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5055767
We’ve seen how they get, so we definitely don’t want to piss these bitches off. Oh, wait, we *are* these bitches! Nevermind.
Anyway, I thought the link below (message board) might work as a place to plan an MN get-together “in private”, away from jealous ears. I’m down for it, though “broad” wasn’t actually that much of a stretch for ME, so my kids are probably older than most of yours. (But, c’mon, Bea Arthur??? Fucking OUCH.)
Here’s the link:
http://www.parentsconnect.com/connect/boards/local/twin_cities/chat_it_up_thread.jhtml?tID=19104
@matt: i hopehopehope your tuesday is as pain-free as ours have been work-free.
holy shit it’s been busy in here. everyone’s quite entertaining. i love the t-shirt ideas (whichever one is decided) and will absolutely be getting one. it’s been a bit of a screaming day between my two oldest girls, so it’s been nice to have some comic relief reading all the comments. thank you. for any of the mn lurkers without chitlens, i have 3 girls that i can share at a get together also. not that i’m looking to get rid of them, it’s just been one of those days.
@everyone who met the logelin clan: i’m way jealous
@katie j: i will email you my email if you’re willing to coordinate somethinig for all the mn lurkers/strangers/stalkers.
@matt: hope you’re enjoying the great weather and fishing. it has been absoluetly gorgeous today. ps. do your woodtick check. i’ve just found 3 in the last 15 min. i hate those damn things. anyways, hope you’re having a stellar day.
Hold on, Anna in the WA, I’m trying this strikeout thing:
strangerOkay, I’m gonna submit and see if that worked.
I can’t believe we’re resorting to basic HTML coding for entertainment.
I’m totally jealous of all you in MN! I second the message board idea, it’s hard to keep track of everything on here! All these comments have made my day (and kept me occupied during my little ones nap times!)
I also can’t look at robots without thinking of you guys either. Just reading these billion comments today, if you want to start saving for Madeline’s college fund, I say get on the Matt, Liz and Madeline store idea asap.
I would buy a robot shirt from you in a second! Hope you’re having a good vacay.
PS I know alot of people who use Proboards (http://www.proboards.com/) for message boards, and like it. Just a suggestion!
@ melissa – you bet!
erica and Landon
I have been a faithful reader, lurker of this blog until today. This is a fucking awesome post. Fucking T-shirts? Way fucking cool!
Great blog Matt. Your story is amazing and I enjoy reading.
“Fuck you Jill” is fucking great. Fuck yah, I’d fucking wear that on every fucking article of clothing in my fucking closet.
@Jen, glad you can also appreciate the need for support (and hot guys) lol
@ Mama of three great t-shirt logo, I met Maddy’s dad on the internet. How funny people would look at us while we wore the shirt..
@Matt, the brother you showed us was Nick but hey Im open for the two married choices..just not any underage ones..im 30.
I have lots of pics
how creepy (or maybe fucking awesome) is it that Matt’s blog is spawning thousands and millions of people who will someday lay claim to their friends that they are strangers (strikethrough) friends of Matt, sixth degree of separation style. Does that piss off the real friends of Matt?
I meant non married, great now I sound like a homewrecker…lol sorry bout that
@K in the N – you did it! Bad-ass! Such is the mundanity of my life, playing with html to whittle away the hours at work!
Ok, I SWEAR this is my last post today. But I need to ask a question and Im pretty sure its a stupid one….When the comment reads, “Comment awaiting moderation” (or whatever it says), what does that mean? Does Matt have to read and “approve” all of the comments?
Here’s why I ask (and this is pretty embarrassing, but I’ll share…). On Sat, I made a comment about oh, I dont know, some shit about wanting to eat, have babies, swear and buy music after reading his blogs. Then I said something about being a fat pregnant lady swearing in the record store, but it could be worse. About 3 or 4 hrs later, it was still saying “awaiting moderation”. And typical me, I panicked, thinking I said something that offended Matt or something, so I sent this frantic email about how I didnt mean to say anything stupid, blah, blah. All dumb shit…(meanwhile, he is a party trying to have FUN!). Did it just mean he hadn’t read it or something? I feel like the biggest moron!!! Anyway, if someone knows the answer, I would be eternally grateful
Asalamalaykom,
For the T-shirt: what about a Flicker=style collage of great pics from Matt?
I am getting a kick out of reading these comments. You guys are awesome! Do you all feel kind of protective of Matt, like I do?
Count me in on the t-shirt idea. I like the (stranger) friend with team logelin too.
Matt, thanks for letting us into your life. I kind of feel like a voyeur.
But in a good way!
@kate in the northridge re: anna’s comment 21words 130+ comments (now 177!)
she meant that matt only wrote 21 words to his post and wow…how many comments from just 21 words!
always reading and always laughing with you all
@ everyone: Long time lurker, first time poster. I just couldn’t resist posting after reading everyone’s comments!
I also vote for
strangerfriend of logelin for the t-shirt.@ Matt: I knew Liz briefly when I was at Scripps and I have been touched deeply by your blog. Know that you have a mini-fan club here in music city too!
@katie m in the atwater
I cannot speak for anyone else, but it does not piss me off.
@Anna in WA, I KNOW! I’m like a programmer now. Smell ME, everyone! LOL!
@Yvonne, I’m 42 — am I the oldest one here?! (Thus, em, the Bea Arthur reference.)
@katie in Atwater: you are winning matt’s fucking contest this week. (Hold the phone — that sounded REALLLLY bad… BWAHAHAHAHAHA!)
@matt — please come back and stop this madness!!! Look what your broads/bitches/wenches/ho’s get into when you’re gone!
I love the t-shirt and sooo want one. I like something with the flower of awesome in it.
Oh and I agree that brother is H-O-T!!
I think he is trying to drive us all mad by not posting and seeing how many comments he can rack up w/o even a real post…Matt, if this is true, we give…now post darnit…we aren’t proud that we are addicted, but we are so we need posts! We need posts! We need posts! We need posts! That was to be read in a short of chant-like tone.
That was sort of, not short of. See, lack of posts has made me delerious.
@Maureen from PA, the answer is yes, Matt has to approve all of our comments. How do I know? I asked him about it on Sunday at the partee!
ooohhh i want to try:
STRANGERfriend…lets see if that works…
although i kinda like “stranger (cant freakin figure out how to strikethrough?) friends of logelin” still.
thanks for the html insight anna!
@ MN peeps — maybe we could make it a national event?? i am SO jealous. ugh.
@ matt – you need to go on tour.
@ Maureen from PA – not sure – but if someone has to sit around ‘approving’ the comments, we are putting them to work. funny story though…
Maureen from PA,
I would guess that yes Matt has to approve each comment before it is posted.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid answers.
Maureen in PA,
I would guess that Yes Matt has to approve all posts.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid answers
I had a teacher who always said that statement and it is so true.
Wow – we have the presence of the male beecher. That is too cool!!
@Kate in the Northridge – no you are not the oldest one here…..sigh
@kate…smell me…too funny. I know your type.
@creative cakes – your comments to kate in the northridge re: anna’s comment 21words 130+ comments (now 177!) – my guess is that kate was talking about Anna in the WA and how to do the whole stranger/strikethough thing and not me….but perhaps I am wrong.
OMG this is just nuts. Poor poor Matt for having to slog through all this (it is fucking entertaining though – and a nice break from screaming kids!). I wonder how high the comments will go….any guesses???
Hey – there’s a TON of cool bars around here, and The Matt got it right when he said Hopkins bars rock.
I say someone coordinate an eve that The Matt could make it, and the grandp’s could sit on The Mads, and let’s all go buy eachother a Pabst. No pabst? Schlitz. No schlitz? Then whatever’s on tap.
That would seriously be a night I would love to be a part of.
I have a newborn, so someone do the dirty work and tell me what time to be there. (I’ll be the one with a snazzy “purse” that’s really a sadistic contrap to pump the tit-tays, bruhaaaaa)
ps – I can render a fake for the wee Logelin. Please send pik.
@ Kate in the N
Well didnt you know 40 ios the new 30? Your still very young..and I cannot wait to get older and wiser
Matt – regarding your younger brothers.
Can you please define Underage… as in below.
Just sayin’
1. Old enough, according to the law, to be eligible for something, as in In this state he’s not of age for buying liquor, but he may vote, or Next year Jane’s coming of age and will get her driver’s license. This usage was first recorded about 1430. The term under age signifies being too young to be eligible, as in It’s against the law to serve alcohol to anyone under age.
2. come of age. Mature or develop fully, as in The school’s bilingual program has finally come of age.
Sign me up for a shirt and sign me up for another get together. Grandma Candee needs to be there for sure. What a doll she is!
Its obvious I need to quit my job to keep up here. You girls, err wenches, or broads are so hillarious. Happy fishing with hot brothers Matt.
I have spent the last few days reading all previous posts and for some reason decided to read the comments today. I too felt like a lurker and then realized today that I am not alone and that there is an entire community coming together for Matt and Maddy. I love it. Definetly wanting a t-shirt.
@Matt- Have a brother around 25? lol. Looking forward to your next post. Hope this Tuesday was better then most.
@ everyone-looking forward to talking with you all soon. Have loved read all of todays comments.
Is there a shopping cart option on this bad blog, Matt? There should be. I’ll take one Logelin brother and a robot
strangerfriendgardenofawesometeamlogelin t-shirt.Now… which way to the checkout?
Okay I am so glad I decided to read the comments section tonight. Fucking hilarious! I have been laughing out loud for way too long because I need to get to bed. However, I think for those of us outside of CA/MN that Matt and Madeline need to go on tour. And bring along the eligible and might I add very cute (Nick – hope he is not the underage one) Logelin brothers with you, because although I am taken my sister is not. And if your brothers are anything like you she would be so lucky!
Party aftermath pictures remind me of my husband and his friends when they party. My husband says they party like rock stars (including breaking furniture at times – I have had to buy superglue out of town to put a hotel room back together once) but they aren’t. Looks like it was fun. Can’t wait to hear about fishing, the pool party, Father’s Day, etc.!
I vote for “Team Love a Logelin”, but whatever is decided I want a shirt!! I think Matt should get to pick the name. =)
Who wants to see Matt and his fucking robot on Deal or no Deal? It would be awesome for all the models to wear black socks and converse tennies??? LOL too much time on my hands.
@ all MN stranger friends of M&M interested in a get together….check out this message board.
http://www.parentsconnect.com/connect/boards/local/twin_cities/chat_it_up_thread.jhtml?tID=19104
Oh my lord – the internet broads have gone crazy!
(If you need a graphic designer to help with the design of the shirts, drop me a line…)
@malebeecher: that is good to know. the vibe here is fun and strong, but I didn’t want to assume. you know, of course, that would make me a total fucking ass.
@Kate in the fucking N: huge fucking thanks for the shout out! (this is so much more fanfuckingtastic than I ever fucking imagined)
Hi all,
I have not read through EVERY post (you all have been very busy), but I must comment, Nick is taken (not by me). Sorry to squish your hopes.
Have a nice evening!
I was bored this evening and decided to check in for updates. I saw the huge number of comments and knew I had to check it out. Matt you’re going to have to set us up a msg board on here or something! Love all the shirt ideas everyone! Matt – Hope you had a great fishing trip!
Alright… I am busted! I too am one of the silent lurkers, driven out in the open by this fucking awesome crowd! Put me down as a regular, and sign me up for a shirt and a jagbomb… or wait… no one mentioned jagbombs yet…. DAMN! Ok, a shirt to go then….
What if we auction off the Brothers Logelin and call it the “Maddy Logelin College Fund”?
I’ll open the bidding on the one of legal age at $25 (U.S. funds … we’re awfully close to Canada, eh?)
This thing is out of control. What a great day for comments.
@ Kate in the Northridge…I read your blog! I have been trying to figure out how people can comment on my blogspot and you had the answer, right there. It was meant to be. And awesome shoes you recently purchased.
@ Matt-your story has changed me for the better. Like I said earlier, it is my first day of commenting but I have been reading since April! I just sent a package, but I sent it to the bank! Hope you can still get it. I think I read on a post they were ok with that. Hope you enjoy MN! It has been beautiful!
@ everyone. Sign me up for a few shirts! I am so in!
Hi Matt, I am a stranger, who hopes to be an internet friend…
I live in MN, near Red Wing and have heard your story. I spent almost the entire dang (beautiful!) weekend reading your archives and catching up to the current date. I just want to thank you for your honesty, writing style, humor and committment to raising your beautiful daughter. Over the last 3 days you have helped me to remember what is important in my life, how to enjoy every moment of it and to appreciate it. I thank you for that.
I hope you had a wonderful Father’s Day!
@em
i tried reach you on the parentsconnect site, but had trouble getting on it. count me in for anything that’s planned. i’m in saint paul, but happy to come out to the west metro. i don’t have any kids of my own, but am auntie-qualified. i can be reached at: raymac812 (at) yahoo (dot) com
I hope it works this time…!
“”stranger”"/
STRANGERFRIENDFYI…Nick isn’t the underage one. Matt did say he lived in Alaska though..unless he was kidding! I am probably to old to say this, but the younger one is cute as well. However I did hear that he likes older women!!
Right, Matt!?!?
clearly I am not too old to use the wrong to! d’oh!
I was just thinking (which is always a bad sign) that I bet the name Jill for new babies has probably fallen like way down the baby name list just from this blog. I mean who in the hell would name their sweet little baby Jill after that bitch opened her judgmental mouth on here. Like I said…bad !idea…but here’s a good one…Fuck you Jill, we haven’t forgotten you!!! On a more civilized note…hope you caught the Big One!
Enough with the brothers, I want to know is Aunt Deb married? If not does she have an interest in old guys (46).
Rita in Texas- thanks for the reminder why JILL is a naughty-word.
Count me in for a tshirt
Good fucking luck on the fishing trip. Where is Maddy?
this is fucking GREAT!
it’s like we don’t even NEED matt anymore *yeah right! the entertainment value of these comments is ridiculous.
where did we leave off with the t-shirt/slogan idea? i had to stop reading and pay some attention to this toddler that calls me mom.
whatever you all decide, i want one.
oh, and matt, get the fuck back here. now.
How do I get on the shirt wagon? I’d love to get one!
Finally – finally! – posting to join the fray of friends.
I’ve been lurking for the long-haul, though, so I hopefully post with some street cred: consider me a (virtual wall) flower in Maddy’s Garden of Awesome…
@Lynn – I’ll enthusiastically sign up for a shirt, a jagbomb…and a bacon burger.
I’m not choosy when it comes to Logelins, so maybe a civil rock-paper-scissor for the brothers? I worry that a Logelin Love Raffle wouldn’t be good for my chances given the number of strangers/friends posting interest.
Oh my god I’m dying here. It’s WEDNESDAY….Matt, where are you? Did you fall in the lake and have to swim back?
@ matt i hope you’re having fun reading all these comments.
i’m married so i can’t call dibs on a logelin brother, but you all are a handsome bunch.
@ everyone i think we need a msg board. otherwise poor matt is going to be up in the middle of the night moderating comments. (which he’s probably doing now with my comment since it’s not even 7am on the East Coast.)
Matt we need you!!! How’s the fishing trip??? You really need to get back here to all the ones that are addicted to your blog!!! We miss the gorgeous photos as well. Hope you caught the big one
Now get the FUCK back here
Good morning everybody!…It is very early in the morning here and It took me almost an hour (a working hour! – please don’t tell this to my boss!) to be updated….I want a shirt also!!!!…I’m going to do whatever I could to buy one!!!…so please, even I’m on the “bottom” of the continent…count on me!!! SORRY FOR MY ENGLIGH!!…I’m trying to improve it!!
If Matt’s brothers are like him and have an interest in robots, maybe we will all lose out…check this out…
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25209226//wid/11915829?GT1=40006
Ok, I’ve been reading this blog for weeks (since Maddy was 5 weeks?) after I saw it on a local mommies’ board site. I refrained from commenting since I didn’t have anything original to add. But this is nuts! I’ve checked for an update from Matt at least a dozen times and just keep finding more and more comments…
I’d love a t-shirt!! No profanity on it, though, my almost-5-year-old would want me to explain what the words meant in detail. He would then proceed to use it as often as he could.
Hey there,
Matt went to Mille Lacs and was going to be gone a few days. So don’t worry (hopefully) no falling into the lake.
Also, Auntie Deb is not officially taken. But, she is a very busy Law School-er.
Lastly, since I haven’t read all of the posts, I may be interrpruting this wrong, but are you all really talking about “choosing brothers” – Nick is taken and I would certainly consider Matt as being VERY taken as well.
(P.S. It would be awful to hurt any family members feelings – because many of them do read the comments)
Carry on and have fun!
LOL @ Louis Zinser!
@ Adara: thanks for looking at my blog and appreciating my new kix!
And YAY to all you lurkers who are de-lurking!
I gotta run to work now so I’ll see y’all later, and hopefully some new pix of the Madstress.
I think he may have succumbed to the solidarity of the fishing lake and decided to pitch a tent and chill w.maddy for the next month? no? sounds like a valid option…lol
One more thing..I like the fact that every broad here has the same sense of humor seriously it’s fucking awesome
OK – this is getting too funny!
Matt – hope you are having a great time with the Brothers Logelin. It doesn’t matter if you’re catching fish or not it’s the camaraderie and relaxation that counts. Obviously we can entertain ourselves. Enjoy!
@Louis – 46 is not old. You’re as young as you want to be. I am going to my 30th HS class reunion next month as a single Mom to a soon to be Kindergartner whereas some of my classmates are grandparents! I’d rather be in my shoes!
Count me in for a shirt!
Matt withdrawl sucks!
Ok I’ve been reading and following along for about a month now and I am lost at this Jill reference – could someone please fill me in.
This board is getting scary…….let’s try to support Matt but not smother him, okay? T-shirts, he and Maddy on tour, it’s sounding more and more like a circus instead of a support group. He’s not a exhibition, he is a widower with a baby, let’s not forget that.
As someone said a while back, let’s not turn this into a Oprah like event. Based on the number of pictures he has shown us with presents from friends, I would venture to guess that he needs emotional support, not just stuff. Just my opinion of course.
Amy
Lurker Jen in the IL here. I’ll take a t-shirt in any and every design and one Logelin Brother please.
8-D
Ok, totally needing a Matt and Maddy fix!! Trying to start my day at work, and it just doesn’t feel right! LOL… Matt, hope you had an awesome time fishing.. but come back and stop the madness! (Or at least give us a new post that we can rack up some more comments on!)
Oh my stars! These comments are totally cracking me up! You guys & broads are seriously hilarious.
@Matt ~ I hope you are able to laugh at this, too. And I hope you come back and blog soon. I’m fairly certain I’m not the only one who is starting to twitch from withdrawal.
Have an awesome Wednesday, all! =)
PS – I want a shirt, too and one for my toddler.
Hope fishing was awesome awesome, and all is well.
Has someone been keeping track of all the t-shirt slogan ideas?? I think Matt should vote for sure….ohhh Maaatttttt? Where are you??
I’m going through Matt and Maddy withdrawal….it’s NOT fun. Where’s the update? I hope you have a wonderful Father’s Day and a great day fishing. Maddy is already your keeper!!!
@ Peggy I am loving your “define underage” brilliant..so Matt if you could be a little more specific..
@Alex I am down for paper scissor rock, jump rope or checker challenge..that would be cool for a new series..”Logelin Love”..great entertainment as chicks duke it out by paper scissor rock for a shot at a logelin..haha too much time on my hands..and too much imagination
I am so in on the tshirt thing! Team Logelin is great along with the stranger (strikethrough) friend, etc. I’m just hoping matt will post something on it so I dont have to read through 250+ posts to find out I missed out on it
Also, a M&M meet and greet in the MN would be completely awesome!
Seriously Dude. Where are you? Wake up!
Anyone that can incorporate the word fuck into every sentence is an instant friend of mine.
I still think you look like David Arquette!
Hope you’re enjoying your family time.
As for the all the commenters….you guys have kept me quite entertained for the last 15 minutes. ….lol
Ok, I know that MOST of you have good intentions here, but I mean, come one, back off and give the guy a break. He started using this blog as a way to get out some of the incredible hurt and pain he must be feeling, and now he has a “fan club.” I know you guys probably really do mean to make him feel good, but I think that you really need to back off a little. It is fine to read the blog, care about his life and even comment, but this is taking it waaaay too far. Matt must be feeling smothered, when all he wanted was a place to vent…
Also, I am just taking a guess here, but I feel that some of you may be developing an odd crush or something on Matt (and did I see something about his brother being ‘hot’? This is just way too much. Support is one thing, blatant crushes and flirting is totally ANOTHER.
PLEASE, out of respect of Liz, chill out. How would you like it if your significant other passed away and there were already legions of girls flirting with him/trying to meet him??? Totally disrespectful.
Matt, thank you for sharing your story and I will continue to check back here for updates. Like half of America it seems, I feel connected to your story and can’t seem to get it out of my mind. And peace to you, beautiful Liz!
Liz
Ok, ok, I read my comment again and need to clarify. My mind was working faster than my fingers. I MEANT: would you like it if YOU passed away and legions of girls were already flirting with and trying to hit on your man, only a few months later?? Have some more respect for Matt AND for Liz!
Liz
I’m late- but HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! Madeline is more than lucky to have you as a dad.
I’m probably in the minority here, but I’m kind of happy that Matt has been MIA. It’s been beautiful here in the MN, and I think he should enjoy it as much as possible with family and friends.
Matt – take your time! Of course, we all care and are interested in how you and your beautiful girl are doing, but your absence makes me think that you’re taking some time to really enjoy yourself… and you deserve that!
Hey Matt, does your robot need a girlfriend?
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25209226//wid/11915829?GT1=40006
I just wanted to say I read your story on one of my friends blogs and I think it takes a very brave man to be a single father. I am so sorry about your wife but you seem to be a great father. Hope you had a great father’s day.
Amen Liz of 8:24 am
Thank you Liz, those are exactly my thoughts.
Matt is a grieving husband, who is a wonderful dad. He is not a celebrity, he is someone whose privacy we should respect. Granted, he is allowing us into his life through his blog, but I don’t think we need to back off and give him some space. We don’t need to have a get-together just so we can all stare at him like he is a novelty.
The internet can be a scary place and we need to remember he has a child to protect.
Amy
And one more thing, if he went fishing somewhere where there is no internet, then quit asking where he is. Minnesota has some beautiful remote areas up north and he may have gone with FAMILY and FRIENDS for several days. I hope he’s not thinking about his blog the whole time he is gone.
Amy
I totally agree with Mona in the MN.
I hope you’re having a wonderful time. It’s beautiful outdoors!
Thanks Amy! I’m glad somebody said it!!!! Give the guy a break!
This is my first comment, though I have been a long time follower (since the Trib article). I have cried, laughed and been in awe of Matts strength as he tries to find the new reality that never really happens. Matt has helped me more than I ever dreamed as I work through the never ending grief of losing my own mother. All of that said, I am thrilled we have not heard from him (other than a few comments : ) ) That is proof that he is enjoying his family and friends! He is taking the time to relax and just be in the beautiful MN (that has finally gotten some kick ass weather). I have no doubt that Madeline is being spoiled rotten by those who have been waiting a long time to do just that!! Lets rejoice that he is not having to talk about the sad days that he so eloquently shares with all of us but instead has not found the time to fill us in on his adventures. Yes, I miss the updates too and check back many times a day but Matt, take your time! Enjoy your family and friends! Soak up the love that is everlasting!! Until we hear from you again……..
It makes me so happy to check in and see you still haven’t posted!!! Because I’m assuming/hoping that means you’re hanging out and having fun with lots of fab weather, and Maddy and your awesome “real” friends and family — all those great folks you don’t wish you’d never met (at least under these circumstances).
Which isn’t to say I’m not really, really looking forward to hearing more from you someday, I’m just more than content to twiddle my thumbs, toss out inane t-shirt slogans, and plan to get drunk with stranger-friends who curse a lot until it’s convenient (and of some benefit to you) to post again.
You do know that you don’t owe “us” one minute of your time, right? No matter how many gifts we send or comments we post. Not. one. damn. word. Have a great Wednesday, Matt and Maddy, whereever you are!
Just voting on the group name:
Team Logelin is our favorite. Skipping the capitalization is ok too and would be kind of in keeping with matt’s style.
Hope the fishing trip was good and relaxing, Matt! See you later!
@Andrea Viera Says – Matt said he has 5 brothers, 2 of which are he noted are single…they were not talking about Matt or any of the other taken ones.
That said, I must agree w/ the minority that this may have gotten out of control…but I still want t-shirt.
Im with Mona-Im just glad he’s out having fun. But, I guess Im being a bit of a hypocrite since by me posting, that means he has to take the time to approve it (found that out yesterday!). I have said from the beginning that we need to respect Matt’s privacy and maybe I have been guilty of not doing that, too. I’ll try to be better because as I have said before,we are “uninvited” guests here. I think yesterday was an anolomy, where a bunch of chatty women got carried away while Matt was gone. I can’t imagine that will be a regular thing….
I would hope that there is no one that has developed a “crush” or whatever with Matt-(other than the harmless motherly type), out of respect to Liz. I think that we all just want to see him and Madeline do well, whatever that means to them. Its not for us to say…
As far as the t-shirt, maybe we should let that up to Matt. IF he is ok with it, it could be a great way to raise some $$$ for her college fund or something. Maybe we should not have his name or website on it. Make it some kind of inside thing, so that people that read this would recognize but not something that would cause a million more crazies like us to join the “group”??? Just a suggestion, but I vote that Matt gets final say on what happens with it….
That being said, Im not going to post any more today (imagine!) so that Matt will have less “work” to do and more time to enjoy the peace and quiet with friends/family!!
Thanks Andrea Viera for the news. He’s gone to Mille Lacs for a few days for those of you who missed the update.
I too, think this may have gotten a bit out of hand. Matt, I wish you well and want you to laugh out loud and enjoy life again little by little. I don’t want you to feel smothered.
Ade´!
thank you liz and amy! my thoughts exactly. i too have been reading the tragic story and have found myself thinking about M&M throughout the day. But some of these people need to back the off.
WALK AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER PEOPLE!
Thank you so much for your Posts Liz, Amy and Andrea! You all said my thoughts exactly. I enjoy reading the updates but I actually am happy Matt has taken a break for a few days.
I think for Matt’s sanity this Blog needs to go back to a place he can receive support and vent. Not a three ring circus.
I know you all mean well but try to remember the purpose of his Blog. I don’t think he intended it as a group forum.
Criky! I have been checking in to see if Matt had posted yet, and then saw how many comments there were! I have been missing out!
I want a tee shirt too, and I love Team Logelin, and \strike/ STRANGER \ strike/ friend I have no idea what that code means so that’s supposed to be striked through stranger-friend! and the Garden of Awesomeness has to be there somewhere too!
Perhaps whoever is going to make them up could do a few ptions, and we can either get one of each or just the one that appeals the most?
I have to say that I think Matt and his family and friends are inspiring and generous and kind. It cannot be easy for Matt to throw all his feelings out there- but he does- which is why I think many have come to “know” him and discuss him and give him advice on all fronts.
I do think that if Matt thinks things are too much, he seems like the type of guy to tell everyone to back off, or just stop blogging to the masses and make his site for his close friends and family.
The weather is fabulous in MN right now.. I hope he doesn’t post for many more days!
Ditto to Liz, Mona, and Amy…this is a bit out of control. Matt is still working through one of the most difficult things imaginable, and while it’s fine to want to cheer him up we still need to respect what he’s obviously still dealing with.
Matt, hope you’re having a relaxing week enjoying time with family and friends. Looking forward to hearing how your 1st Father’s Day was!
@Matt- maybe you should turn off the comments (assuming this is bothering you. If not, then leave them on)
If people want to help we can send you emails and you can reply at your discretion.
If people want to help in a larger sense- they can go to helpmattandmadeline.blogspot.com
Part of the reason I am so drawn to Matt’s story is because he writes as if no one is listening. I get to see into his world and walk a day in his shoes. Let’s respect that and let him continue to be a grieving husband and single father.
wow – this board has gone crazy! i’ve only posted here a handful of times – but I have been very taken with his life story through the blog – and have thought of Liiz and how painful this must be – and how brave of him to open up his life to so many strangers. I have a blog too…but it’s only for friends that I invite- I am too intimidated to put it out there to the general public.
I agree with Liz & Co. that we need to remember that Matt is a grieving husband – he lost his high school sweetheart and had his first child all in a matter of hours…the poor man needs to grieve. I am so happy that he shares his life and his beautiful photos of Madeline – but he is still newly widowed and we do need to respect Liz and his relationship.
Matt- where ever you are – I hope you’re having a blast, relaxing with friends and family and starting to heal a little.
And I hate to admit it…but I would wear a “team logelin” shirt….I just hope for the best for the two of them – and for healing and prayers for Liz’s family…..
Just have to say I agree with a growing minority (Amy, Liz, Mona in the MN, Lisa C., and Andrea Viera who appears to be a family friend or family member). This is getting out of control, intrusive, weird, obsessive, bordering on disrespectful. Just my opinion. If I were in Matt’s shoes, this craziness would likely make me pull the plug on this blog. I realize that most people started commenting here out of support, but it seems to have a strange turn of late. Again, just my opinion. And his is the only one that matters.
Matt,
I know your in minnesota, but i never heard anything about meeting you guys, huh! Hope you had a great fathers day, and hope you are injoying it here. I’m thinking about you and madeline. You are doing a great job! Lots of hugs and kisses for both of you. Tina P.S. Its almost thursday, where have you been?
I vote for: “I’m a flower in Maddy’s Garden of Awesome”!
Here’s another idea:
“I can’t believe you bought a fucking robot!”
(with a photo of the robot)
Ditto what Jenn said.
OMG I didn’t check for ONE day and came back to all these posts! I love it. I want a Fuck You, Jill shirt. Actually since I have four kids under the age of 8, I’ll probably be better off with stranger (line thru) friends of matt or something like that. But I want one, no matter what they say.
Matt, I seriously am expecting NBC to interview you on the Today show (if they haven’t already) as well as larry King. You’re an inspiration and you’re REAL and by the way – I didn’t even NOTICE your outfit being bad – my husband dresses just like that and after 10 years of it.. well, I’ve stopped even noticiging because it gave me too many headaches (first date, he wore orange button down shirt, purple vest, and burgundy shoes w/ brown belt). And I married him anyway?? OY. Good thing he is a pilot and wears a UNIFORM to work. Otherwise we’d be in trouble.
can’t wait to read your next post (hint hint) and count me in on a few shirts – six to be exact, one for each of my kids and one for me and my husband. At least he can wear it with jeans and it’ll look good.
Sending love from the armpit of america….
Thank God someone finally said it!! You guys are going way to far. YOU ARE STRANGERS – why would he want you running around wearing t-shirts with their names, picture or what ever you are planning on doing on it???? You are turning his outlet for grief into a public circus. Please consider what you are doing. Supporting him like he is running for office is almost embarassing. I don’t mean to sound like a bitch, but think about if you were in his and his families shoes.
I love the t-shirt idea and would also wear one proudly! Count me in. I love all the ideas you are all coming up with. Rock on!
I’ve been reading since day one, and I think only commented one time, but I had to chime in here. I agree, this is getting way out of hand. I enjoy reading the updates and hearing about how things are going for M&M (just thought of that!) but let’s all back off and give the man some room. We don’t want to scare him off and run the risk of not hearing any more.
With that said…I vote for “stranger (strikethrough) friend of logelin”.
I’m 47…too old for a fucking Logelin brother.
Is there a dad, uncle, or old-but-filthy-fucking-rich grandpa available?
Wow, if you posted in this thread, re-read them and you’ll realize how twisted this has become. I love reading about Matt and Madeline too and I sure hope he doesn’t get freaked out by all of this and stop posting. I think some of the posters here have lost perspective on WHY they are at this site to begin with. Have some respect, please.
matt, you fucking rock. hope you plan on celebrating fathers day and mothers day because you deserve it. im sure all of youre friends/strangers wont forget it either.
i really wanted to go on sunday but i was nervous. showing up at a stranger/friends house alone scares the shit out of me. hopefully with our new MN group, next time it will be less scary.
Ok, Ok , OK. . .
Can we all just call a truce!
How about no more comments for a bit-
I strongly believe we all have the Logelin family held in the highest esteem and all want simply the best for Matt, Maddy, their family, their “real life” friends, and their
strangerfriends, as well.Peace out people. . .
I have to agree that some of the posts are waaaay out there and a bit over the top. I have lurked since just before Maddy was born and appreciate the updates (Mommy of a 28 weeker). I just want to support Matt not over whelm the guy.
I think it is great that liz and the others have stood up to say shut up. Yeah, I came on early this morning to see if Matt had posted and I was kinda happy he hasn’t yet. To me that ment he was enjoying time with his family and little girl. He is learning to enjoy the simple things again without his sweet Liz.
I have at times felt like I have just read a friend’s diary or journal after reading Matt’s blog. You can see he is sharing that raw emotion- dealing with pain I pray I’ll never know. The blog is clearly something that is helping him grieve and please everyone let’s remember that and be respectful of liz and Madeline. Remember she will read this one day!
Ok- I’ll get off of my soapbox…..
I agree with Amy…way out of hand.
A few random thoughts…
I know everyone who has commented have the best of intentions. With that said, maybe back off a bit. He is on vacation! He has been kind enough to post a few since he has been in MN, but give him a couple of days blog free
And I’m pretty sure he is well aware of everyone wondering where he is because he has to approve comments before posted from what I understand (I could be wrong).
As for the T-Shirt idea…I think if Matt wants to pursue that he would have a lot of orders to fill
, But I also think he should choose what it would say (not sure he would want his last name on a t shirt floating around out there) All the money made would be wonderful to put away for Madeline’s college fund
On that note…I was thinking the other day of the OVERWHELMING number of packages and gifts. The reason I was thinking about this is my son just turned one. It got way out of hand and although the “toys, clothes and stuff” are great, they take up SOOOOOO much space. And in the world of excess that we live in I’m sure my son would have been tickled blue with 1/4, hell 1/10 of the stuff he received. Plus it should be relatives like aunties and uncles, grandma’s and grandpa’s and yes REAL friends who spoil Matt and Madeline and buy all the really personal stuff. How many frivolous cutesie onesies and robots can one little girl really need
If everyone sent just $20 (which I’m sure many of the care packages were more in the $50 range) it would probably mean Matt could stay home with Maddy a little longer before HAVING to return to work. And what could be better than that!!!! There are almost 300 comments. 300 x $20 is $6000.00!!!
As for the idea of a get together….that is just plain creepy!
Matt, I hope you had a wonderful Father’s Day. There are sure to be many more to come. Maddy is so lucky to have been born into such an incredible family. Love to you both.
Where are all the guys? Is blogging a wasteland of women? Not that I’m complaining or anything. Matt, I hope the fishing trip was/is to your liking.
I agree with Liz and the others to let Matt breathe. I think we’re seeing the “Sleepless in Seattle” effect.
Matt- I hope you have a wonderful Father’s Day!
Interesting reading in in the ol’ comments section today. Sounds like you better get back soon before all of Madeline’s internet “Aunties” start to turn on each other. =)
so, what is your single, 21 year old brother’s number???
I will go for any name! I kind of enjoy being called a “broad”, I am not Bea Arthur however!!
If Maddie were to call me Aunt Bea, I would have to be in Mayberry!
Just make sure you have t-shirts in sizes for the “sturdy” Logelin worshipers!
Have a great fuckin’ day.
Jan
To all that feel everyone here was / is smothering Matt and getting out of hand, I think they were just trying to help him get through another fucking tuesday.
@Alex: Jagbombs and Bacon Burgers still sound like the best idea! And for the record, I like “The incredible Miss Maddy and Her Awesome Daddy”

Jen~ I was thinking it was like “Sleepless in Seattle” too!
Anyway glad you’re back Matt, was missing your blog these past few days. Happy Father’s Day btw, you are such an awesome dad!!! More dad’s should be like you!
This is all too hilarious for words!
And by me posting this, I’m adding to the ridiculous-ness of it all!
Have fun Matt!
I was having a very good time reading this and thinking about posting then someone pooped the party.
I still want to know who Jill is.
I might be a broad and I need to know at what age I would qualify.
I swear I have no crush on Matt, but I admire someone being honest about how life hurts while they keep on living. A good example to follow.
I have a crush on all the Logelin brothers; Grandpa Logelin; Grandpa Tom G.; AJ; Johnny Utah; and the Male Broback.
I rarely ever read the comments on here….I stick mostly with the blog. I did skim through after reading your latest post, Matt. I must have missed quite a bit
I don’t have near enough time to go back through and read all the comments though. I just want to say again, that I hope you are having a great vacation and enjoying time with your family!!!
fuckin’-a
I have a crush on all of the commenters, as their frequent and ridiculous commenting keeps me going throughout my boring day!
Thanks ladies (and gents!)
Three cheers for 303 comments on this post!
Hope you had a good day, Matt!
I actually really liked the old header but if there needs to be a change maybe it should include some robots!
I’m a first time commenter long time reader…..
I totally forgot the most important part….your daughter is fucking adorable!
well shit, after seeing uncle david’s pick on flickr I wish I was remotely near 21 and I’d be asking for his number too. Unfortunately, I think that officially makes me a cougar at the ripe old age of 33. Lord…
This is my second post ever: I just gotta say how amazing “the community” is on this board. Everytime I feel that the world just doesn’t care for others I come here.
Matt, thank you for being so open with everyone!
PS I want a t-shirt as well.
PPS Matt: My fiance John and I would like to send you something: is there anything in particular that Maddy or you may need or want?
Matt, as usual, Liz is inspiring me with every story that you share about her. Whoa dude. Just. Whoa.
@ everyone- My ass=officially laughed off.
just thinking of you and Miss M today – as usual.
hope you had a nice day
Now I want to leave a comment that’s funny, but I can’t even think of anything in the least bit amusing. It all left me. I suppose I’m more of an accidental “humorist” than an intentional one.
Anyhoo, I’m glad you’re enjoying your trip a bit.
K in the N: While the CA has broadened the definition of marriage in the recent weeks, I’m not sure it is now so all-encompassing as to all you to marry an entire LogelinBrotherAjJohnnyUtahMaleBroback unit. As such, perhaps you should be less greedy with your crushes.
I’m a long time reader, first time blogger. Figured I should leave a comment since everyone else is. ha!
@ Matt – Your story and courage have touched my heart! Have fun at the Twins game. I’m taking my 4 year old son to tomorrow’s game. He is going to love the game, light rail and the hot dogs….blah. Oh well, have to eat crap every once in a while. Good luck with the tshirts…there are tons of great ideas. Just let me know where I purchase one.
@ the many bloggers – you all are great. I love all the personalities out there!
Matt!-
Glad your havin a great time in the MN, but I miss you – come back soon.
I also want a matt’s internet broad t-shirt!
And a yah, uncle David is cute – need to find that boy a girl
I also miss the most beautiful baby in the world, yes that would be Maddy!
As my asian friend says “love you Long time”!!
matt –
one of the garden of awesome wallflowers here, de-lurking to say you are seriously f*cking awesome. thank you for sharing your life with all of us. unfortunately, i don’t have anything witty to add other than i cannot wait to buy a tshirt!
Coming late to the party here, but I love the idea of a t-shirt. I’ll be a proud t-shirt wearing member of team WTF Robot or whatever it ends up being.
I tried to scan all the posts but my eyeballs began to bleed from the mass volume of text. LOL.
Matt, I hope you had a kick-ass father’s day!
Hugs to you both…
Amy
Hey – Not all Jills are fucking bad… Matt, I think you and your language are inspiring. More people should speak the way they feel. My heart goes out to you and Maddie.
I am so glad that you wrote the comment above. I, too, find inappropriate things hilarious. Especially at the most inappropriate times. At my grandmother’s funeral, the big casket spray on top fell off onto her during the viewing and almost knocked the casket over. Everyone there was horrified, but my dad and I sat there and laughed our asses off. Thats just the kind of thing that my grandmother would have wanted. Deep down, it seemed like you were this type, but after I made some of the comments, I started second guessing and thinking that a) not everyone finds my humor funny (only the good ones!!!) and b) I DON’T know you, so maybe I had crossed the line-(glad to know that your line is drawn somewhere close to mine). In the last few years, I’ve come to appreciate the fact that laughing is sometimes the only way to make it through some of the roughest times. And there is never enough laughter in the world. So, now that I have broken my promise that I wasn’t going to post again today, I’ll widh you a fun night with lots of laughs (both appropriate and inappropriate)!
@Liz, Amy&co….. YES! Finally, I knew I couldn’t have been the only one thinking this was going too far. I know Matt’s entertained by this but by reading some of these comments, it doesn’t seem like it’s about Matt anymore. Another opinion, of course.
So damn funny! I’ve commented a time or two, but rarely read through all the comments. Ok, rarely read ANY of them, but the 100 number drew me in. I have laughed and laughed this evening. I’m up for hosting the friends in FL party : )
Matt- as alaways I wish you and Mads a little joy day by day.
Cas
Matt — If/when you’re in the MN, you should head to Psycho Suzie’s in Northeast Mpls. I was just there today and they have a new appetizer called “Plate O Bacon.” The appetizer is just 7 slices of bacon! Bacon and beer, yum.
Holy shit. I’m supposed to read all these comments? Fuck, people.
I just wanna send out some super-big love to Lindsay D., who got me thru today’s blog vitriol via e-mail therapy.
I so treasure some of the folks I’ve “met” here!
Matt, you handle this fuckin roller coaster ride called life eloquently and graciously. You’re gonna be stuck with us stranger/friends for a while ya’ know…
matt –
the pic of you, madeline and great grandma is precious. how wonderful that she got to meet g-g’ma. btw, madeline gets more beautiful by the day.
glad you’ve been able to see the fucking hilarity in all our recent comments. otherwise i’d have to assume that i was the only one who managed grief with a healthy dose of twisted humor.
@k in the n — is your “man trifecta” down with your considerable crush on the male logelin’s?
@aj — i’m going to weigh in on the color controversy: thumbs down on the blue/gray. too cold. otherwise, looks great
@matt — hope you had fun at the twin’s game!
holy shit….it’s madness on here!
anyways…for any of you MN stranger friends of M&M (who don’t think it’s creepy), come over to our message board for details re: a get together.

@ K in the N – can you come visit MN…we want to meet you!
As far as laughing at a funeral goes, at the very end of my sister’s very emotional funeral her then 12 year old daughter suddenly got up and left the room by way of the door right by the coffin-we all thought she was overcome and needed to get away, but no, she was just looking for the bathroom cause she had to pee!
The burial was a few days later and while we were all waiting to start, there was this very same 12 year old and her 8 year old sister taking pinwheels off of people’s graves to play with.
I laughed and I know my sister would have laughed too.
Matt, I’ve been lurking around here for some time. Coming out tonight.
Your story is heartbreaking and awe inspiring at the same time. And, on occassion, f*cking hilarious.
Apparently there are many of us with what some would consider a “twisted” sense of humor. I was at my grandad’s funeral. Crying my eyes out. His brother (my gr uncle),put his arm around me. Well, his watch band-one of those stretchy things-got caught in my hair. Jesus, now I and about 6 people around me are laughing hysterically while we try to get said watchband out of my hair…whew. It was f*cking funny!!!!! Ya just gotta laugh sometimes…then, sometimes you cry too.
Rock on Matt. Your daughter is beautiful.
Sybermoms knew you before you went viral…fuck that Glamour shit and head over there.
And some of you need to get a grip. If you have children, log off and go play with them for fuck’s sake, and let the man live his life.
So, you seriously were at the Twins game tonight? I saw your name/greeting on the jumbo-tron…and got very excited. It’s probably good I didn’t run into you as I would have gotten very nervous and stalker-esk…just watching you from afar. Hope you enjoyed the game! How can you beat dollar dog night?
OK…I am DYING! Thank you for the millions of ways to use the workd FUCK. I use it daily and now I just cannot say it wo thinking of Matt and Maddy.
I live in Chicago, but grew up in MN…plan a get together on a weekend and we will make it up there!
Fuck Jill has got to be the fuckin funniest thing I have heard!
T Shirts for all…I will sell them here in Chicago!
Who is going to sell them at the State Fair?? Fucking awesome t-shirts on a fucking stick!!!!
Kisses to Maddy and Matt!
Ahhhhhh, a little peace comes to the board.
Love you Matt & Maddie! All are waiting patiently (ok, some are not so patient) for your next post to the blog.
Matt, if you’ve enjoyed the time away a lot feel free to set your own blogging pace, ok?
I have a story to help you look forward to the toddler years. My son had been potty training and had went a couple of weeks with no accidents. So, I got brave enough to take him shopping and let him wear his big boy underwear. He was following along behind me as I looked at items on the shelves. He was always jabbering so when I noticed he had gotten quiet I looked back down the isle to see what he was doing. He was just standing there, but behind him from the beginning of the isle to where I was standing was a trail of poop. A perfect little plop, plop, plop, trail of poop. I couldn’t believe it. I was SO embarassed!! I did clean it up and at the time I swore I’d never go back to that store in case they remembered us. However, a few more years of parenting has taught me you can’t predict what your kids are going to do! If I quit going places where my toddlers have embarrassed me I’d be a hermit. LOL!!!
Hope you are having a great time! I want to see fish pictures. Fishing rocks!!
Sometimes things just fly out of my mouth. Luckily, this one hit someone who shares the “innappropriate doesn’t apply as long as it’s funny” thought process:
Twelfth grade, at a friend’s funeral. Sitting behind his Mom in the second row. As we’re waiting for the next speaker to make it to the pulpit, she turns around to me and tearfully says, “Kelly hated funerals. He used to act sick to get out of them.”
What comes flying out out my mouth? “Well he sure made it to this one, didn’t he?”
OHHHH the dirty looks from everyone else as we dissolved into hysterical fits of laughter. Later during the “let’s eat tiny ham sandwiches” portion of the day, she wrapped me in a huge hug and swore to me that she heard Kelly laughing too. That always sticks with me.
Here’s to Kelly moments!
PS I’d totally fucking rock a shirt that said, “I’d rather be fishing where there is no internet.” Maybe I’ll use it on my Facebook status …
Another quote that made me think of you..and all:
Thinking and Believing: Thinking is an effort, believing is a comfort.
-Ludwig Marcuse
Happy fuckin Father’s Day to the best fuckin dad in the world!
Usually don’t read everyones comments, but when I saw how many there were, being when Matt hadn’t posted, I had to find out what was going on. Holy shit!!!! I had to come out of my lurkdom status and say……WOW….to Matt for being the amazing person you are. You are so real, so honest, and so inspiring. You make me laugh and cry at the same time, and I haven’t done that since I watched Steel Magnolias!! (a TRUE chick flick!) You have opened up your life to a bunch of strangers and have shown us everything from pictures of your house to your golfing attire (LMAO!!) to your wonderful family and friends and to some of your most memoarable times with Liz. So I hope everyone can do as you suggested and all “just get along”!!
Thank you for putting my life into better perspective. Keep on keepin’ on….. “Always laugh when you can. It is cheap medicine.” – Lord Byron
“Why does Sea World have a seafood restaurant?? I’m halfway through my fish burger and I realize, I could be eating a slow learner.” – Lynda Montgomery
My mom was the last of four speakers at my husband’s memorial service. While telling a funny story about him, she inadvertantly said “cock”. Should I mention it was a full military service in the base chapel with a number of senior officers in attendance? Those of us who knew him well were hysterical. And that laughter was the only thing that got me through the playing of taps. He would have loved it.
Laughter can be a very good thing.
fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck
sorry i just had to get that out :]
Matt you are amazing i am going to start posting on here more. Ive just been lurking :]
But i do have a package full of goodies coming your way from Lakenormanmommies.com!!!!!!
I think what draws me in so much about Matt’s story is that he not only speaks from the heart, but he speaks (writes) they way most of us would react, but might be afraid to show 100%. All the F-bombs. It DOES fucking suck, plain and simple.
I’m lol at the Sleepless in Seattle comment.
“Dear Sleepless in Seattle. You are the most attractive man I’ve ever laid ears on.”
Matt, again I will say, you fucking rule. Your sense of humor perfect. This entire thread has me laughing my inappropriate ass off. and another fuck you, jill. Just for good measure.
Matt,
I spent all of Tuesday afternoon reading your saga of life, love, loss and becoming an awesome father. You have an amazing gift of expression, and although at 56 I probably wouldn’t use some of your words, they don’t offend me…your openness and the raw passion you share is utterly amazing. I hope that each passing day, hour, minute, second will enable you to see the future through Madeline’s eyes, and that you will always remember her mom and tell her of her often. You seem to be doing an incredible job with your daughter. Also, don’t forget to take time for yourself. Grief is a funny (strange, not ha ha) thing. Everyone deals with it differently. Allow the tears to come, try to sleep when Maddy sleeps (that’s what I tell all new parents), take care of your health…one very special young lady is depending on you. Please know that you both are in my prayers from here in Rendon, Texas.
Pam
When my mother-in-law passed away, the closest crematorium was in St. Cloud. My sister-in-law told my husband, either you go pick her up or they will fed-ex her to the service! My husband just about had a meltdown – there was no way his mother would be fed-exed! So we drove to pick her urn up, put the urn in the backseat, and drove her to all of her favorite places – Taco Johns, Dairy Queen, telling her stories the whole time. It was a hoot!
Amy
I am glad you are back…. hope you had a great first fathers day and fun fishing! I have to say that as I was reading some of the comments while you were gone…my first thought was how Inappropriate some of the comments are…but after thinking about it ….some laughter is just what you need!
Matt,
It’s your blog you most certainly have the right to say whatever, whenver you want. (Lord knows I always do!)
I hope your first Father’s Day was fantastic and that your enjoying the R&R home with those that you love.
I commend you for your straightfowardness and look forward to watching Maddie grow up.
Big hugs.
So today I feel has been the longest day of life. However, it was nice to get on the web and see that you had posted today, great to hear how your father’s day went and i’m glad it went so well. I have nothing witty to add to the string of comments on here but I just have to say I laughed so hard reading all of them, I rarely ever go through all of them, but considering it was over 300 I just had to see what all the fuss was about…HA- LARIOUS. Laughing…a flippin fantastic way to pass time.
Welcome back Matt!
=)
You were missed!
