woke up in
the guest bedroom
of aj’s house.
got ready to go
to breakfast,
but first we played on the
internet, finally finding
the mpr interview
(audio, transcript and a bunch of photos of madeline found on the link above)
that we took
part in at the electric fetus.
we headed to a cuban restaurant
in aj’s neighborhood
to have a little food
before the wedding.

spent the morning
with my baby.
she is really starting to
express herself.
lots of cooing,

fun these days.
realized that i had
to be at the
church for the josh
and jane’s wedding rehearsal
a little earlier
than i expected.

thursday was quiet.
madeline spent the
morning with grandma broccoli.
as i slept in after
a long night
working with aj.
went to the grocery store
near my mom’s house
to buy some formula
(for madeline).
couldn’t find her
preferred vintage.
was walking out of the
store when i noticed that
the formula was locked-down
near the exit.
the grocery store
on the other side of the minnetonka,

doubled my sleep from
the night before,
but it’s not enough
to fully catch me up.
(i’m about 7 months behind).
woke up and hung out
with my baby,
having not held her
for almost two days.
probably shouldn’t be near her.
still feeling like garbage.
finally got moving
and called rachel e. to
see if she could
meet up for lunch.
