She was diagnosed with colon cancer while pregnant with the second baby girl, and left us 18 months after her emergency C section. Her husband was all alone with these two beautiful girls, he was a Canadian national in Jersey. Her friends rallied around him the best we could. Your story brings back so many painful memories of loss, but I hope I can assure you this - There is so much happiness to come in your life. Ironic that I found this blog today, because that Dad I just spoke of who watched the love of his life slip away from cancer at 35? He's getting married. TODAY! ( and she's amazing!) I miss my friend every day, but she lives on in those girls-and its wonderful. Take care.
