woke up
with an awful feeling.
i can’t remember what
we did for our
anniversary last year.
the only other person
who would know
is no longer here
to jog my memory.
so how the fuck
do i figure this out?
checked flickr.
no photos from that date.
(how can that be?).
gonna have to wait
until i get home,
check our bank statements,
try to piece together
the past.
i remember the wedding [...]

20 weeks ago (tuesday).

(yep…still a week behind).
woke up early
and got ready for
a long hike with
grandpa tom g.
grandma candee and awesome auntie deb
chose not to join us, which
really meant that
they wanted to spend the
day with madeline.
as much as i wanted to take
her on the hike,
i figured it was a
better idea to let her
stay warm while
hanging out with the [...]
