I’ve been to the Liberace museum and my favorite part is all the little old ladies who work there. They all adore him and hope everyone who tours the place really enjoys it. They were all so cute. Phelps? Not too surprised. I heard he slept with a different woman for every medal he won after the last olympics. That may not be true, but then again…

I’ve been reading since your story in the strib back in April and your mention of the liberace museum in vegas is yanking me out of lurkdom. before i get to liberace, you, liz and madeline are amazing. as others have said, reading your blog often makes me cry and laugh at the same time. it’s an awful story, but you are making the best of it and telling it beautifully. the photos, also amazing. i’d been thinking about visiting banff and now i know i need to.
onto liberace, you’ve probably already left the museum, but i hope you got a chance to see the show. the liberace marionette is totally over the top and had me and my friends laughing until our stomachs ached. he sat at his own mini grand piano and went to town. you’ll have to let us know your impressions if you caught the show. hopefully my love for the marionette isn’t making me come across as a total weirdo…

I just had to let you know that I tried your onesie over pants thing with Reese this weekend and it was FABULOUS! I’ve been trying to figure out how to have him wear a onesie with pants, but now that he has a feeding tube it’s been a little bit tricky. Onesie over pants is the best. Phelps is NOT a golden boy…many people have no clue that after the 2004 olympics he was caught drunk driving and sentenced to 18 months probation and had to give a few speeches to high school students about drinking and driving…
