I am generally a lurker, and can now not remember how I came across your blog, but have enjoyed following Ms. M and you along the way. I am sorry for the loss of your beautiful wife Liz, but can tell you as a mother she is oh so proud of the job you have and are doing. You ROCK!!

Lastly, I counldn’t help but laugh that the A/C guy feel through the ceiling. I would have been pissed, but probably would have been rolling on the floor in laughter.

In Islam, we say, “Alhumdulillah,” thanks be to God for everything. Laughing is a simmilar deal, isn’t it? It lightens your heart.

Anger is the opposite, right? It darkens your heart. You feel oppressed by the weight of the upset.

Sadness is something all together different. It’s like a transition moment. You want something better than what you have. It’s the readying for the uplift.

In the begining there was light…no, I mean, yes. But that isn’t where I was going.

In the beginning, you were angry often. That seems to have subsided. It is so reduced in you that MEN FALLING FROM THE CEILING don’t even get you in a huff. HELLOOOOO! He created a skylight in your closet! But, YOU remained cool. Alhumdulillah.

Keep it going! Things in motion stay in motion.

Oh, and I got a teaching job in MN, alhumdulillah! Two days before I was supposed to fly out to Egypt. We’ll still have one year to take the flight (minus $500) and I’m thinking this summer. So, Mr. Matt and Miss Madeline, your invites to Cairo are not rescinded, they are just postponed. Try to get the reality TV show lined up by then!

I was just in Puerto Rico last week and thought about the pictures you take. I tried very hard to use your “eye”. I guess we’ll see when I get them developed.
