thursday.

(still a week behind).
didn’t get much sleep
last night and
had to get up
early to let the
air conditioning guys
in the house.
why?
oh, ’cause the damn
thing is leaking water
through the ceiling
of our bathroom.
fed madeline while
i waited for the
guys to arrive.
they did and discovered
that the drainage
pipe was leading up
rather than down.
not awesome.

wednesday – 9/17/2008.

sept. 17th.
liz’s
birthday.
wasn’t really looking
forward to this
day, but here
it is
and we have to
face it.
woke up to one
of the very few
things that can turn
a shitty day into
one that isn’t…
we spent the morning
and early afternoon together,
just the two of us.

i’ll be running in fewer than 4 hours.

tuesday.

woke up early
to continue my
quest to have a
(relatively) clean house.
madeline woke up
with a giant smile,
which forced me to
stop everything i was
doing just so
i could enjoy the
moment with her.

she can shift from
smiling to crying…
