we have been
incredibly busy.

after the nyc trip
there were a few
days of work and daycare,
a visit to the
doctor for madeline’s
second flu shot,
dinner at the french
restaurant in the eagle rock
with auntie diane
then came halloween.
that friday, madeline
tried on a couple
of different costumes.
both looked incredible.
then auntie melanie stopped by
and we

stopped by in
the morning to say
goodbye before heading
back to the mn.
then it was
back to daycare for maddy,
back to work for me.
that evening we found
ourselves in a vegan restaurant
for the first time
in either of our lives.
it was laura’s suggestion,
but i actually liked it.
went home early
that night, exhausted
after a weekend full [...]
i will sleep well tonight.
now if we californians can just defeat prop. 8…
