I love when you can discover photos like this that you never knew were out there. I found an old compact flash card with photos of my dog that I just lost a few weeks ago and cried when I found them. Very touching to have this gift you received from your friend.

I have been reviewing your site since it crashed earlier, and it is so very inspiring. Through pictures, Liz seems like she was such a gentle, caring person. You must have loved her so, which can be seen in all the pictures you took of her (Madeline is so lucky to have those treasures of her mother, as are you!). You have been so blessed with the opportunities to visit other countries – I hope to one day do the same. Though 12 years seems so short now that it’s over, your pictures show a lifetime.
