shopping for a christmas tree.

maddy helped mom pick out last year’s christmas tree with a kick from the inside…

2007:

liz and fetus with christmas tree.

and this year she gave me a backhand to the face when she saw the one she wanted.

2008:

shopping for our christmas tree.

(i can’t wait until she can talk…this process will be a lot less painful).

(proper update when we get to the frigid mn).

Have a good trip home Matt. You’re going home to a white Christmas. That should take some of the bite out of the cold. So much better than the usual brown in the winter back there. Merry Christmas from Colorado.

    Have a wonderful trip!

My friend was over with her almost 1 year old yesterday and had a fashion tip you may find useful for your upcoming trip.

Slip a pair of Babylegs under her pants, down just over the heal of her socks. It will keep her legs warm when her pants gap/ride up and help keep her socks on.

    Happy Christmas

Great post, Matt. You’re a rock star. And your kid is too.

Once upon a time we used to travel back to the mighty Midwest for holidays. But now we stay here in the PNW. And snow and cold and ice still somehow find a way to grace us with their presence, even though it’s meteorologically improbable.
