It's a lot of pressure...like it or not, it may be even tougher for you since you are a male single parent, which is not the "typical" situation with which society is more comfortable. In addition, you are dealing with tremendous grief. Good for you for showing such strength on the "good" days. Kudos to you also for getting through those times when you've cried and had a hard time making it through the day. You are making it. I underwent a C-section and ended up in ICU for many days to follow. I was the lucky one. I am sadden that Liz is not here on Earth to hold and interact with your beautiful daughter. But seeing your blog and reading your article, I know Madeline is blessed to have you as her father. I am amazed by your strength, encouraged by your determination and humbled by your honesty. I do hope that you continue your blog, for there are many of us who find joy in what you are doing. I just finished reading the article in People magazine about you Liz, and Madeline.
