monday.
january 26.
made it past
another shitty day
relatively unscathed.
both happy to
be home, we
crashed hard last
night and slept in
a bit this morning.
made it to work
around 9:00
after dropping maddy
off at her
second home.
looking forward to
a quiet week.
made it through
the work day
without falling asleep
then picked up
maddy and went home.

jan. 24 – 25.

(wow. exactly one month behind).
saturday, january 24th.
maddy’s 10 month birthday.
we woke up and
headed to the
village for brunch
with our buds,
jd and chrissy.
had lunch inside
a giant birdcage,

(which is kind of a good idea for parents with mobile children, if only they could lock the damn thing),
inside a room with
lot of pink and mirrors.

well, if you’re in southern california on sunday march 1st, you should come out to griffith park and meet up with us and a whole bunch of other folks for a play-date.

(jumping ahead a bit to post a video of madeline).
we got a little play time in before our friend, melanie, arrived to watch maddy for the night.
they’ll be in the living room with all of the musical instruments, i’ll be in my office trying to finish up a few things.
this is what i’ll be missing [...]
