i’ve been a lurker around here for a few days, and i’ve read a tons of your posts. before i read each one, i tell myself that i am not going to cry. not this time. and each time, i find myself in tears. your story breaks my heart. i don’t know how you find the strength to do what you’re doing, day after day, but i DO know you possess an incredible amount of strength. you are an amazing man, and madeline is blessed to have you as her daddy.

I have been following your blog since shorty after Madeline was born. I have laughed and I have cried but somehow seeing in on Rachel Rae it seems so more heart wrenching. To see you tell the story is so heartbreaking. Keep up the great work. Madeline is luck to have such an amazing man for her father!!

I just had a chance to watch you and Madeline on Rachel Ray last night–what a wonderful show. I’m a faithful reader and totally in awe of you and what you are doing for your daughter. You are a great dad and this is going to be wonderful for her to read some day. Madeline IS going to know her mom because you are doing such a good job of describing her to us and to Madeline.

You truly are an inspiration and I try to make a point of holding and hugging and kissing my kids and my husband a little bit more.
