Your story came to mind as I was watching Grey’s Anatomy last night. The episode ended with the birth of a preemie and the death of the mother. The father’s grief (as portrayed by an actor) was seriously intense. It’s amazing how art imitates life sometimes.

I am pretty sure I have told you this… But my Nana would have belted you and said you are going to make her stutter.
But my baby brother doesn’t stutter and he has 4 older siblings that are at the least 13 years older than him so pay the Nana no mind. She also used to worry about charcoal colored shit so keep that in mind.
As much as this fills Maddy’s heart, I know it fills your heart too. Beyond belief. Just for a split second, everything seems and is perfect. When that giggle goes off, everything else fades and your world is how it should be.
I love baby giggles so thanks for sharing. Makes me want to leave work to go home and listen to my baby laugh for awhile.

There’s an actual word for blowing raspberries on a baby’s bare tummy. It’s called a bnerfel. You won’t find it in any dictionary, but that is what my dad called it, and what I call it to my daughter. Bnerfels are the BEST!
