well, if you’re in southern california on sunday march 1st, you should come out to griffith park and meet up with us and a whole bunch of other folks for a play-date.
those scheduled to appear include:
*a bunch of strangers friends
*some creeps
(if i can convince them to take a break from their work with the foundation).
*gentle ben
(if i can convince him to get out from behind his camera).
*ms. single mama and her son
(in the neighborhood for a short vacation, and willing to waste a few hours in the park with us. oh…and she set this whole thing up).
*madeline
(if i can convince her to take a break from beating her piano with her musical bells).
here are the details:
when: march 1st, 2009 – 3:00 – 5:30 p.m.
what: fun in a park.
where: shane’s inspiration, griffith park – los angeles – near the carousel (directions)
(let’s hope it doesn’t rain).
who: everyone is welcome except for jerks and baby stealers.

I just wanted you to know that I read your Blog from the beginning to present time…took me awhile with my 3 little ones! I found myself looking forward to my time to read your Blog and see your beautiful photos. I couldn’t figure out why I was so addicted to your writing, seeing that I have never got into the whole Blog thing. Then I realized! Your story’s, your days and struggles are all a Love story to Liz and Maddy! Sometimes truly painful and then so funny!! But all of your days are for your love for Maddy and Liz. Love like that, people search for and sometimes never have it!!
I am so amazed with how great you are doing, you probably don’t feel that way sometimes..as we all do as parents. It’s one of the hardest jobs out there!!

I love Canada, but damn I suddenly wish I was in Southern California, mostly because I want to meet and hold that precious Madeline and tell her Dad face-to-face and Eye to Eye just what a great job he is doing. The big dump of snow we’ve been getting would also be nice to leave behind. I’ll be thinking of you guys and all your creeps soaking up the sun and basking in those Liz sized smiles from Madeline (as well as all the other little munchkins) while I will remain here, likely freezing my ass off.
