This will truly be an amazing weekend you have planned. I live north of the cities, Cambridge, and have never been to Calhoun. We usually head north to ya know places like “Meat on Mille Lacs” and Paul Bunyan land and such. This will be a true experience for us! So looking forward to this event and will start fund raising this week. Thanks matt for this awseomeness you are doing…..

I am planning on participating in strolling through the garden of awesome, along with my 2 year old daughter, Adeline. I’ve already put something on my Facebook page to start trying to raise money for it.

My husband is a photojournalist and will be donating his time for a photo shoot for the auction. If you’d like to check out his work, you can do so at http://www.andyblenkushphoto.com.

I’m still trying to figure out what I can donate. Any suggestions? I usually make and donate jewelry to fundraisers, but I just won’t have the time to do that for this. (I’m a SAHM and student.) Do you think offering services like cleaning someone’s house would work? I need ideas!

I LOVE that you called alcohol ‘booze’ it’s such a minnesota thing! I grew up in Minneapolis & now live in Spokane WA, and I get mocked ruthlessly when I say ‘booze’…the jerks ;-) kidding…

Sad to miss the event, I was just in MN 2 weeks ago. So great that you’re doing it though.

    Now where’s my booze? ;-)

I enjoy reading the comments about nearly as much as I enjoy the pictures and your own posts Matt! Most responses are so incredible, so spot-on and so, so, real. I started crying the other day when I read for the 100th time someone wishing they could give Liz back to you. And even today, the joy, the excitement over the 5K and the silent auction. This is what the foundation is all about, For the Love of Liz- what we can do along with crying over what we can’t.

    Matt,
Just a thought, today I set up some auctions on Ebay and they allow you to link your sales to donate to a non profit charity. I tried to do For the Love of Liz, but it’s not one of their listed charities. Might be something to look into getting set up…..

this might be a repeat comment here… cause I am thinking i screwed up my last-

    I was just saying..
if any dvd’s or *anything* Seth Green signed or related made it’s happy little way to the online auction..
you would be making the eldest HF spawn a very happy wee teen aged girl.

and I mentioned my shear delight that my girl passes on the Jonas brothers and all the Efron stylin’ modern day clones for her desires..

she is a HUGE Seth Green fan.

best of Luck Matt…..I am looking around for auction items..
and i Hope we can walk again here….
