Matt, I just received an email from Kim Lucio in regards to your foundation gala in a few weeks. I just wanted to say how sorry am I to hear about your wife. I remember when Kim told me about it last summer. I had a hard time fighting back the tears, as that is not what Kim needed either. I am so glad that you two have each other to talk to, to help each other through. You, Maddy and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers!!

I love the pictures of Maddy on your blog. She sure is a cute little girl!

Sincerely,
Michelle

Hi Matt, i saw you on Oprah today! Yes, Sweden is a bit behind America in TV-shows, but better late then never, huh? Just wanted to inform you that you now officially have a LOT of readers in Sweden too... I plan to read through the whole blog some day (when I don't have to rush to work!), but for the moment I just say THANK YOU for sharing your story and good luck with everything. Oh, and Maddy seems to be absolutely wonderful, but I'm sure you already know that :)

Hallo Matt.
My name is Liv-Torill and I saw your story on oprah here in Norway. I was so touched by your story.
Five months ago me and my husband had a little babyboy, born i week 28+3. There was a lot of drama, but thankfully we are all safe. I just want you to know that the story about your wonderful wife Liz has reached Norway. And we are thouched. Maddie is the cutest kid, and from the glimpse we had from your life I think you are an awesome dad.
God bless you both!

You quit?? You see my friend, windows open when doors are closed. Truely, life is a journey to take, and you are doing a great job at fullfilling it all, even the scary parts. Best wishes, to you both.

I agree with Becky, My husband scared my daughter when she was about 3 years old when he shaved his beard off and then surprised us walking into the living room, it scared the crap out of her...was scared to death of him and would not go near him for a while. It was not her daddy in her eyes. I think it would have been less traumatic if she watches you shave it off.
