OMG – it’s hard to remember she was ever that small. You’ve both come a long way.
my goodness… she was so small. once again, you’re a wonderful daddy.
Wow, so tiny!
It’s wonderful to see how far you’ve come and how Madeline has grown into a beautiful princess due to your love and care, you are a true inspiration and you need to know that. Keep on going I am looking forward to your book and your many more adventures
I love this photo. The way that you are looking at Maddy captivates me. She is so relaxed without thought and you cannot escape your thoughts. To be honest this photo makes me cry. It reminds me of these moments that I lived with you/through you and your blog. Time has passed yet the feelings are so fresh in all of our hearts.
She has grown, just look at how tiny she is here
like an angel=D
love it!
She is so beautifully precious!
I just found your blog a few weeks ago and I am not “up-to-date” yet. I fell in love with your story and decided I wanted to read from the beginning. I have been reading now for 2 and half weeks and I am currently in December of 2008. I am truely amazed by the way you’ve handled things as a single father with such a tragic beginning to fatherhood. I know you hear this alot, and probably NO ONE in the world (except for the few who have experienced simular situations) knows how you feel or what you’re going through, but I am TRUELY SORRY for your loss. Your wife was beautiful and Madeline looks just like her beautiful mother!!! I look foward to getting infront of the computer and catching up with Madeline every day. I, myself, have a 3 month old. I know how it feels to enjoy watching the milestones. I have enjoyed watching Madeline’s as well. You are a fantastic father!!! Keep it up! And GOOD LUCK with the book and traveling with Madeline!!!
you’ve both come a long way…and going to bigger and better things!
