This is so precious, Matt.
So, so bittersweet to see. I look forward to your book for a little more clarity and insight….I just look at these pictures and seriously cannot fathom all that has happened. These early days especially must have been such a roller coaster of emotions. I can’t, for the life of me, understand how you (and many others like you) keep going. I mean this as a compliment and not a downer. Thankful that you have your little girl to help keep you going.
Amazing! A real tearjerking photo
LOVE it.
I love this one for many reasons…
Your faces and the rings on your left hand make this my favorite.
This one is really the best. It just captures so much of what I, as a blog reader, remember from the earliest months of your sharing about the loss of Liz. Liz’s rings stood out to me all of those months ago when this was first taken, and the really add to the strong message of this photo. Definately, definately, definately a keeper.
Crying at work. Again.
She is just so perfect in every way. Priceless photo.
There are many good photos but this one captures the essence of the story—daddy, baby, and the rings on his hand.
I think this is perfect as a representation of you and Maddie. It even shows Lizs ring on your finger, like you are all 3 right there.
It can’t be the same baby!
This is my favorite photo.
voted. it’s my favourite too!
I have to say that the poignancy of this one strikes the emotions…the filtering light & colour tonality draw the eye esthetically to what is the core of what I read about you both…love, sadness & inescapable nature. Bonne chois, it won’t be an easy choice!
love this one…everything about it!
This photograph…
is TENDERNESS
is nurturing
is love
is compassion
affirms the fragility of life.
has my vote
strong and gentle.
Precious!
It is amazing that the little person that is Madeline today was ever that small. She looks so precious and perfect it is hard to believe she isn’t a baby doll.
You look so vulnerable in this one. It shows the enormity of your situation. You, alone…with a baby.
A beautiful and priceless picture. I can only imagine the weight on your shoulders just pressing down at that time so early in your grief. You have done an amazing job with Maddy.
Wow, it’s amazing to look back on these early pictures of Maddy. I forget how much she has changed since I started following! We all grow up too fast don’t we?
I like that you can see Liz’s rings as well
not seeing the voting options, but thumbs up for this one.
Maravillosa foto.. Es una de mis favoritas!
