today you went to
your first muslim mosque
(just realized i didn’t take any photos of that)
as well as your
first hindu temple.
you met a ton
of very friendly
people and learned a
little bit about
cultures other
than your own.
don’t worry…
i don’t expect you
to remember everything
you learned today.
we’ll come back
here a lot
as you get older,
and over the years
you’ll learn it all.
i’m pretty sure
you’re gonna be smarter
by age 10 than
i am at 31
(almost 32).
and for that,
i will be most
proud of you.

I think this is your life’s work. Traveling with Maddy and writing about it. I have traveled extensively in Asia but sadly not yet to India. I am always asked, why Asia? You are answering that question very well. Thank-you.
As always, you demonstrate what an incredible parent you are, by expecting now that your amazing child will surpass you in every way – the only way to think if you are an incredible parent!
So sweet, yes, she will be smarter than you. it is their job. Hell, glad my 8Th grade Daughter doesn’t ask me shit. She is an A+ student and I am a child of the FREE 70′s so Hell I can barely answer shit on ” Are you smarter than a 5Th grader” Ya, that’s me. Really proud of my 70′s modular scheduling school upbringing.
