I have followed you and your beautiful journey for so long…never commented…But this, this inspires…what an inspirational photo for so many different reasons…
Wow! What an amazing photo!
Matt, I have never commented but have followed you thru this journey. You see; I have a little Sadie that is 7 days younger then Madeline. I too like Liz had a c-section. I often wonder what/how my husband would handle your same situation. No, I’m not talking about how you inspire everyone but mainly how he would cope with a new born and a 2 1/2 year old son with the day in/day out activies.
My Sadie knows Maddy thru your videos and pics. We enjoy them every night as we prepare our dinner in the evenings.
Thank you for sharing Liz and you beautiful Maddy with us.
I can’t wait for the book. xoxox’s T-
The photo is AMAZING and u…
u would NEVER ruin anything!
It moves me to see how you document the precious life you share with your daughter. You can feel the emotion in your thoughts and how much you love her. She’s growing so very fast! I’m really happy you are getting to write and book and be in India. Maddie’s really took the place by storm it looks like. But what you’ve shown the world you give her- that’s priceless. I imagine Liz is beaming at what a good job you’re doing! Keepin’ you all in my prayers!

What an amazing photo!!!!
Your words could never ruin a photo. I actually LOVE that each photo has a caption and your words are beautifully written. I am soooo looking forward to your book! Being in India has brought out the best “in words” out of you! Your writing is touching, inspiring, loving… all that and more! Keep doing what you’re doing!
Love it! Your journey has much inspired me..and I genuinely enjoy reading your blog and getting a little peek into your world. Thank you for inviting us all! I know Liz is proud…everyday! ~R
I know what it is! It looks like she has a halo!
The combination of the hand outstretched, while bowing down, and the lighting looking like a halo…she’s your angel. That girl’s your angel and you are her wings.
Great photo, Matt.
I’d call it “Baby, cubed”
. Coming from a once little girl who didnt have a daddy, I think Maddy is a precious gift and you two are lucky to have each other. LIttle girls (and big ones) need their daddies. Keep up the great work, Matt. I know I am a complete stranger, but I am inspired by you and your love for your beautiful daughter. I know she will grow up to be a strong and incredible woman because you were there to love her. May Liz’s love continue to shine down on you both and may you be reunited one day as a family in the next life.
