I lost my mother when I was four years old, forcing me to learn at a very early age that life isn’t always fair and that while all things have endings those endings aren’t necessarily happy. I also learned that each ending is really a new beginning even though it may not seem like it at the time. Your words are a testament to the love you have for your wife and the hope you have for yourself and your child. I will continue to pray for you both. I too suffered through the agonizing "decision" and still question it too. I write about my daily pain on my blog too, and I love reading what you write because I usually have also gone through it.
