watching you explore
your world,
wherever in the
world we happen to be.
but i was
a little scared
when you climbed
this ladder.
it seems that
you have no
fear, which is
something i really love
about you.
but please be
careful, because i
don’t need any more
gray hair.

I remember the no fear stage, I was amazed but freaked. Maddy is the sweetest. I look forward to your book.
She’s finding her feet literally! My son is climbing everything these days!! He’s a little daredevil! BTW I saw the video of Maddie encouraging you to drink your beer! So funny!! D
Some kids are that way. My baby brother and his 2nd kid (my 3rd oldest nephew) were/are.
Where do you go in Mexico? Can you (and Maddy) give me a recommendation. I have 3 little ones and want to get away with them next Winter.
Thanks Matt! PS. If/when you do a book tour I hope you come to Detroit but if not I would go as far as Chicago.
It looks like she is enjoying herself at La Buena Vida. I don’t blame her. I like it there myself!
My 2 1/2 yeard old daughter climbs like crazy at the park with the daycare kids. Awesome that nobody told me. The first time I saw her scaling the ladder to the monkey bars I about shit my pants.
Maddy is adorable, as always!!
She has no fear because she has you there.
stay beyween her and the ground ….. never between her and the experience.
