That video is truly *hillarious*. And perfect. I just did a post the other day about my 11-month old cracking open a bottle of tequila (he was upset that I might not kiss him on the mouth because he’d played in piss-water in the toilet earlier, so he was using the liquor as an antibacterial mouthwash). I haven’t been *here* in forever!! In October a damn pine tree tried to eat me (fell on my car while I was driving), and I was on a vent for a while…so I *literally* had a good excuse for forgetting who I was for a bit. I hadn’t visited since then because I couldn’t remember all my links (who needs shortcuts?!). I was excited to read all about India, the book, MN, the cruise, and all that bid’ness. I plan on staying in touch…again….and the pine trees won’t dare mess with me now. They know what happened to the other guy.

I’ve been a long time follower, but I’ve never commented until now. This was quite possibly the most hysterical yet adorable video. Maddie is beyond entertaining. Thank you for sharing your precious gift with the internet world!

    Hi Matt,

I just spent the last week reading every entry in your blog (when my 10-month-old daughter was sleeping). I laughed and I cried as I followed you and Maddy on your emotional journey of the last few years. I know all of this has been said before, but I can’t not say a few things. I am so sorry you lost Liz! I am so grateful that you have Madeline in your life! You are an amazing Dad and wonderful man! Thank you for sharing your life and story. Thank you for sharing your adorable daughter. Thank you for sharing your adventures and photographs. Thank you for sharing yourself, your thoughts, your emotions, your vulnerability. I can’t wait to read your book and I look forward to following the journey of you, Maddy, and the Foundation for as long as you decide to share with us. I have a lot of connections in the MN (same area as you) and I hope to be able to participate in a Foundation event in the future (I’m living in the UK now, but will be back in the States before too long) and meet you and Maddy. Wishing you and your family all the best in 2010! And that video is hysterical – hope you had a great vacation.

I wouldn’t worry until she asks you to buy a funnel and a long stretch of hose… then, maybe it would be time for some therapy :o )
