And before we know it.. we’ll be saying when did this little girl become a young lady.
Just looking at her and I know she’s well on her way to growing up to be a wonderful young lady at that.

It just seems to happen overnight that they become real little people. She is so precious. Thanks for sharing her (and your) journey.

It’s amazing how quickly they grow, and change. My daughter is going to be 3 in June, and I catch myself looking at her and wondering where has the time gone? Certain angles she looks so grown up, other times she still looks like my baby girl. Maddie is a gorgeous little girl, and I have enjoyed watching her grow up through your eyes!

I’m guessing you’ll see that look a lot in the coming years……”Daaaad, come on……I’m waiting!”

So funny that you posted this comment with the photo because I just took a picture of my 18 month old this morning and when I looked at it I was startled, thinking, “when did she become a little girl rather than a baby?!” It sneaks up on you! She’s such a beautiful girl… and the dress she’s wearing is gorgeous… good taste!

I love the look on her face, so serene and thoughtful and yes, grown-up. It’s a wonderful photo.

PS: Are you amazed that 700 some people commented on your last post? How curious it must be to live out loud and have to “come out” to strangers about your dating life and then in turn for all of us to comment. I find the phenomenon of it fascinating.

My dad’s still asking how his baby girls became 24 (me), 18 and 16 (sisters). It happened while we were traveling and having fun with our Dad too, just like you and Maddy. A wonderful thing. :)

Matt, I can’t get over that pose and that adorable face! It seems as if she has quite a bit of her mother’s looks and personality. Lucky girl.

The older she gets the more bits of Liz I see….especially in her expressions and mannerisms. What a gift that is :)
