And before we know it.. we’ll be saying when did this little girl become a young lady.
Just looking at her and I know she’s well on her way to growing up to be a wonderful young lady at that.
It’s amazing how quickly they grow, and change. My daughter is going to be 3 in June, and I catch myself looking at her and wondering where has the time gone? Certain angles she looks so grown up, other times she still looks like my baby girl. Maddie is a gorgeous little girl, and I have enjoyed watching her grow up through your eyes!
So funny that you posted this comment with the photo because I just took a picture of my 18 month old this morning and when I looked at it I was startled, thinking, “when did she become a little girl rather than a baby?!” It sneaks up on you! She’s such a beautiful girl… and the dress she’s wearing is gorgeous… good taste!
I love the look on her face, so serene and thoughtful and yes, grown-up. It’s a wonderful photo.
PS: Are you amazed that 700 some people commented on your last post? How curious it must be to live out loud and have to “come out” to strangers about your dating life and then in turn for all of us to comment. I find the phenomenon of it fascinating.
My dad’s still asking how his baby girls became 24 (me), 18 and 16 (sisters). It happened while we were traveling and having fun with our Dad too, just like you and Maddy. A wonderful thing.
You are truly an amazing Dad Matt…and you are doing an excellent job at raising that beautiful little girl!! I have loved following along on your journey and watching that tiny baby grow into such a beautiful little girl….she truly is an angel I LOVE this picture of her…that dress is gorgeous and she definitely looks like her mama in this picture Keep up the good work Matt…it’s amazing how fast they grow!!
Seriously, she just gets prettier and prettier, which I never find possible! You have a total heartbreaker on your hands! I love your adoration for your daughter. More daughters need dads like you!

Fun indeed!
Matt, I can’t get over that pose and that adorable face! It seems as if she has quite a bit of her mother’s looks and personality. Lucky girl.
The older she gets the more bits of Liz I see….especially in her expressions and mannerisms. What a gift that is
what a little heart breaker, tho boys will be comming out of the woodwork chasing her soon… she is so so so cute

I never knew Liz, but why do I think she probably stood with this exact expression more than once in your years together?
