BUT, random old wives’ tale that I heard: if you take a child’s height at age 2 and double it, that’s how tall they’ll be as an adult. (If that’s true, my own daughter is gonna be like 5’10″, which is strange since there are no women that tall in our family.) By the way, I don’t know if I mentioned it the last time, but if you double a girl’s height at 18 mos, you’ll get her approximate adult height. Based on her measurement last time, she should be around 5ft 2.5″.
I did this with my older daughters, one said 5’2 and she only made it to 5’1/2″ and the other one came out with 5’6 and she is 5’5.5″ at the age of 16. For boys, you take the measurement at 2 years and multiply by 2….my son should be 6’2….won’t know for a while though!!!
