I wanted to ask you where you get Maddy's clothes? She has the most beautiful dresses! My daughter is 2 years 8 months so close in age..we don't have 73 pairs of shoes, but still way too many for a 2 year old! When I packed up her clothes that don't fit anymore into plastic bins to put into the basement, I was stunned to see how many clothes she had had over the course of her short life! I easily packed away over 10-12 large plastic bins overflowing with clothes. Love reading your blog and getting a glimpse into your life. You are a fantastic father. Can't wait to read the book. I was fortunate to have smooth transitions with both of my boys. If you are concerned about her wandering the house at night you can always put a baby gate at the door to her room. We have done this for both our boys - mostly because our bedrooms are on an upper level and I didn't want them trying to get downstairs in the middle of the night. Otherwise the gate stays open and it's worked like a charm for us. Maddy has good taste in bedding and holy cats on the shoes!
