well, that didn’t take long…
within an hour and a half of posting this message, all but three items were claimed.

by 7:00pm, everything was gone.
and now everything is packed up and ready to be shipped (thursday morning).

if you’re curious to see if you ended up with any of the items, click here and look for your name next to the item you requested. so sorry if you didn’t get what you wanted.
we’ll definitely be doing this again soon, likely with some of maddy’s (and possibly brooke’s) clothes.
thanks to everyone who helped clean out our house, and extra special thanks to those decided to donate to the liz logelin foundation.
(i’ll post a donation total as soon as i get the numbers from our various donation systems).

Matt, you are such a good man. I was on bed rest at the same time as Liz. I was terrified. You are raising a beautiful, well-rounded daughter. I know without doubt that Liz is proud of you. I wish you the best of luck with Brooke and life. You deserve every happiness in the world! Maddy will be so proud of you, too. You are a great man!
~Tricia
As far as future sales go, if you ever decide to sell any of your trinkets from India I’ll definitely help you out
I’ve wanted to go since I was a kid but working as a nanny doesn’t give me too much travel money so i’ll just settle for decorating my house like it haha.
I couldn’t have said it better than TriciaM. Ditto that!
Check going in the mail today – thanks so much!
Hey Matt, (Maybe you’ve already done this) Have you ever thought about auctioning off some things on Ebay. Not like movies, CDs, etc., but perhaps somethings that you have talked about over the past couple years (Yeah, I’ve been here that long….lol). I was just thinking that soooo many people love you all that they would probably pay alot for certain things and all proceeds could go to the Liz Logelin Foundation. Just an idea. I sold a baseball poster on Ebay a couple years back for $1,500……..Becki:)
Brilliant idea, Matt. I dread the thought of having an actual garage sale, but an internet one with proceeds/donations going to LLF…that’s a great thought. I will have to file this one away for when we’re doing our spring cleaning and clutter clearing!
This was a great idea! Unfortunately I missed out on this one, but hopefully I can catch the next one.
Wow!! I can’t believe I missed out on this!!! Great idea, though!
Wow is right! I can’t believe I missed it either. Oh well, not like I have any more room in my house either.
Will definitely be on the look out for Brooke’s clothes!
too bad my twins are older than Maddy or I’d be all up in that too!
By the time I saw the link on twitter and came here everything was gone! Maybe next time! Brilliant idea though!
Ahh, I missed it! Will certainly check back for more. Would love the chance to buy some of Maddie’s cute outfits! She always looks adorable and we just adopted a sibling group of four, garage sales are my new best friend!
What a great idea for a great cause, the Liz Logelin Foundation!!!
Hey there Matt – I was just wondering when you get ready for some of Maddy’s stuff would you let me know – I have brand new nieces that were born in dec and would love to get some of her stuff for them. Thanks
Thank you Matt! My firm will be making a donation.
You should definitely do this with Brooke’s clothes. She’s got great style!!
If Brooke decides to “toss” any accessories, please oh please give a heads up about this. I’d love to have a shot. She has some good taste in what she wears.
Hahaha. Yay! sell Brooke’s clothes!!!
sooooooooooooooooooooooooo… i’m getting married in september and our wedding has a robot theme. seriously. any chance you’d be parting with some old robots that you’re all like “robot i am overrrr youuuu” anytime soon??!
ooh! can’t wait for maddie’s clothes! she’s the best dressed cutie-pie i’ve ever seen!
I hope you’re considering doing this with Matt & Maddy autographed copies of the book in April. I think you could rake in a lot for the foundation doing that!
Maddy and Brooke should sell CUPCAKES!
You should get blog readers to participate! I would definitely be willing to pay shipping to get rid of some old DVDs/books if people would make an LLF donation in return!
I like Sarah M.’s idea! Definitely would love to purchase an autographed book !!
Can I reserve Brooke’s clothes now??? lol
I LOVE her style, I always notice it in the pictures you post!
I love Maddy’s too, but unfortunately i cant fit in those.
dont give away maddy’s clothes, you and brook might have a little girl someday!
Matt,
Thank you so much for the movie How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days. Your postcard cracked me up. I showed my husband the dvd and his response was “crap, not that movie!” HAHA
Thanks again! I hope you, Brooke and Maddy have a wonderful rest of the week.
FAB idea!! I am just sorry I missed out. Now I will be stalking your blog daily to be sure I don’t miss the “garage sale” for Maddy’s clothes!
Ya, she is pretty much the best dressed kid ever! Such a wonderful way to raise $$ for Liz’s foundation!
Thanks for the DVD’s! I was so excited to receive them today! Loved the postcard! That was a nice touch….and hell it was funny too! I watch tv in bed every night before I go to sleep and now I will be dreaming of manolo blahniks and great fashion!
I adore and envy Brooke’s sense of style. I think you should auction off a shopping spree with Brooke
