Alright, I have to try analyzing this one too. Is the quote something Liz once said to you? Like one of those random moments we all remember but have no idea why we remember it? That’s my guess, but I’m lost when you go into possibilities and such a thing being impossible. Unless you mean the possibilities of small things expanding your memory of other details? I’m not sure who you’re talking to in the next section – the public, maybe? People can’t understand? That’s my guess, because then you’re like, “I don’t have to remember all the time to remember.” Okay, that is my poetry analysis for the day.
Can I also just offer – you talk pretty often about religion, how it’s man-made and just something to give people hope, in your opinion. I actually agree with that, but at the same time, feel it’s worth noting that sometimes people believe in a higher power or something more than what they can see not just because of indoctrination or fear – sometimes it’s just a feeling. A strong sense of peace when a prayer is said, a sense of being comforted, of not being alone, of destiny – as a writer, you must understand that no matter how much logic or science, a feeling or an experience tends to override those things. When you’ve felt something, no one can deny you that feeling, not even Darwin.
