walked here,
in the same place

through a uttar pradeshian summer,
the two of
us,
hand-in-hand until

still we walked

we learned about this

(somewhat) normal sleep
schedules, plus a
daily routine equals a good
thing for all of us.
we’ve been here

become the norm.
well, maddy still
goes crazy when
she sees a
cow or a monkey,
