30th flight, 1st cruise.

a few months ago
i got a call
from my bud, chrissy
who writes the storked! blog
over at glamour,
asking if we
wanted to join her
and her son, jack
on a free disney cruise.
while, i’m not
really a cruise
kind of guy, but
i agreed to go,
because i figured maddy
would love it,
and yeah.
it was free.
besides, i thought it
was pretty cool [...]

vomiting child.

tuesday.
i slept an hour
and a half
the night before,
and i wanted to
get a little more rest
when maddy woke me
up with her
usual morning noises.
instead of going
to get her
as i usually do,
i let her talk
away and attempt
to entertain herself.

it’s been
ages since i’ve
had a proper
update, but that’s
how shit goes sometimes.
1.5 days after
returning from india,
we jumped on
another plane
(maddy’s 28th round-trip flight)
and went to the mn
for thanksgiving with
the family.
everyone was excited
to see madeline,
and only mildly
interested to see me,
which is what
happens when you
have a child.
