i can remember countless evenings…
today,
14 years ago,
a first date.
a couple of nervous kids,
(well, at least one).
out to dinner
with the grandparents
at our favorite
restaurant/bar here
in akumal,
madeline acted like
a college-aged dude.
(i’m not sure what to think of this).
a few months ago
i got a call
from my bud, chrissy
who writes the storked! blog
over at glamour,
asking if we
wanted to join her
and her son, jack
on a free disney cruise.
while, i’m not
really a cruise
kind of guy, but
i agreed to go,
because i figured maddy
would love it,
and yeah.
it was free.
besides, i thought it
was pretty cool [...]
