wednesday, thursday.

(catching up).
the couch
is quite comfortable,
though the sun rises
well before i’d like to,
telling my eyes
to open.
(time for some new curtains).
madeline sleeps through
it all, only waking
when she hungry or
when her diaper
is full.
had to be out of the house
early this morning,
going to meet auntie
anya for a walk
around the rosebowl
before it gets too hot.
getting some exercise is
good for me.

monday - 16-week birthday.

monday sucked.
didn’t get much sleep.
woke up at 4:30am ready
to start the day.
problem was,
no one else was ready
for the day to start.
not even madeline.
sat in front of the working computer
in total silence until
madeline was ready to eat.
wished her a happy birthday,
birthday week 16/52.
after breakfast
i headed to the garage
for one last effort to find the
boot disk for [...]

saturday.

woke up early
and met aj and sonja
for breakfast at the
cuban restaurant near their
house. got a little
too much sleep, i think
and ended up arriving
a later than i’d planned.
delicious breakfast and
(as always with these two)
an awesome conversation.
talked extensively
about what i should do
now that my pc has
crashed.
they say mac.
i say, um…maybe.
finished up, said goodbye
and headed to the mtka
