woke up early

monday.

happy 25/52 week birthday
to my beautiful baby girl.
we did almost nothing
today, which explains
the look of surprise
on madeline’s face.

those damned
teeth had her crying
for most of the
morning and into
the early afternoon.
none of the recommended
remedies seem to help,
so i relied
on the one thing
that i know can make
her feel better.

thursday, friday, saturday, sunday.

i woke up before my
baby and tried to
get a few things
done around the house.
ten minutes later
i heard madeline moving
around in her bassinet, so
