january 26.
made it past
another shitty day
relatively unscathed.
both happy to
be home, we
crashed hard last
night and slept in
a bit this morning.
made it to work
around 9:00
after dropping maddy
off at her
second home.
looking forward to
a quiet week.
made it through
the work day
without falling asleep
then picked up
maddy and went home.
tuesday.
20 days into
a better year.
back to our real
lives at
daycare and work.
maddy was happy
to return,
but i could
have used a
few more days off.
lots of things
happening as a
result of the
people article.
calls, e-mails from
lots of different folks.

15 days in
to 2009.
woke up to madeline
laying on her side,
sleeping peacefully
in the bed
beside me.
we got up and
let her grandparents
feed her breakfast.
