My son and his wife had a baby about a month early in April. Five days after he was born my daughter-in-law passed away and now my son is alone to raise a brand new baby boy. He is really having a rough time, but like you he has to get up each morning for his son. It would be nice for him to have someone to talk to that has been through the same things he is going through. He is doing a great job as you do but it still is so hard. He has been keeping a journal for his son about his mother and the things that have happened. Thank you for sharing your story and giving us hope. I saw you on Rachel Ray today and it gave me hope. As a mom of 3 girls and 2 of which have been c sections,I had never thought of anything like that happening either.I worked in a hospital on a med-surg floor and know that 24 hrs seems a bit long to wait before walking her after a c section. My first section was March 06 and my second just a short 2 1/2 months ago.My nurses and OBGYN made me walk at 12 hrs post section.I wonder if that had a factor in what happened? I am amazed by your strength and your sence of humor,You will be an amazing roll model for your beautiful daughter.Always keep Liz's light bright for her.Never let it fade.
